Have fun picking out drapes while your boys are partying Yeah but they have to paint first. The drapery selection will only take place if they have enough time. It'll be a nice little Saturday

There's this chick who works at the tanning/nail salon across the street. Every day I contemplate asking her to do naughty things with me.
But I'm pretty sure she's at least 35.

Do it, when I was 21, I hooked up with a 25 yr. old for awhile........until she started showing up at my house without asking and that pretty much killed it for me. But yea, older chicks are the best, they take care of you and everything. Im in the process of trying to get back on my game with a 24 yr. old, going on 25. Im 22 by the way.

I'm with Loki on this one. I have many younger friends that I can relate too way more than I can people my age that are all married off.
Speaking from my own experience, I'm seeing a much younger man and despite the 10+ year age gap. We're very happy and age never comes into it at all.
So long as your both happy, age shouldn't be an issue.

Again, experience (in this area) of an older woman can be a great thing. Only thing is, I have no idea what her relationship status is. Although she sometimes gives me the "sexy eyes", I can never be sure if she's interested.

6 year difference is the most I'd go, anything more then 6 years and you face a generation gap.
BTW some dumbass has a pw on a picture in this thread

five years? Nah that's not much at all. That's the exact age difference my last 'serious' girl and I were apart.

Maturity is more of a factor than age when you are in your twenties. If your both pretty much in the same position in your lives you'll have a much easier time than if one of you is still figuring out life and the other has a steady career. I'd say if you are really interested in her and you have compatible lifestyles, the age thing won't be too big of a deal. I pretty much agree with that; when I was 24, I dated a 20 year old, and it was disastrous, primarily because I got tired of putting up with some emo brat throwing a tantrum every time he didn't get his way. On the other hand, my fiancé is four years older than I am, and things couldn't be better.

I don't see a problem. I have a friend who's 19 and her BF is like 27 and they're great together. 21-25 isn't really anything big.

I try to make a distinction: in the case of a booty call (how eruditic of me!), age is completely unimportant.
Relationships can be a little different. Age isn't important, except in cases where someone's being taken advantage of. I mean that in the sense that somebody who's, say, 18 isn't going to really know how to handle a mature, adult relationship with somebody who's 28, or 35, yadda yadda yadda.
That said, it's not like there aren't younger people out there who are capable of handling it, but they're really a VERY small minority. So, yeah, the only time I get concerned about it is when actual mental/emotional maturity is an issue.

5 years isn't a big deal....if both of the people involved are over 18......my friend however....is dating a 20 year old, and she is 16, a BIG no-no, but she, and him, are both madly in love with each other, so I guess that's ok......oh wait....its not, as I love her too(more than a friend love, btw)...*Ron Simmons voice* DAMN! */Ron Simmons voice*

Depends. I know a chick who is like 24 or so and is married to some dude who is about 50. They've been together since she was 13 or some such thing.
Last I ever talked to her, she was happy.
So, what the f***?

Men often date/marry women many years younger than themselves, and society doesn't blink an eye. That's because men can reproduce until they die. Look at people like Donald Trump and Michael Douglas. Catherine Zeta Jones is like 30 years younger than MD.
Women can only reproduce for a certain period of time and their prime child bearing years are between 18-30. After 30, fertility decreases and the odds of birth defects rise.
So, unless a guy doesn't want kids, dating a much older woman is usually problematic, unless she's very rich. lol
Society, however, admires women for their beauty and youthfulness. Men are admired for their achievements and wealth. If Donald Trump weren't the powerful, wealthy man he is, he would not be married to Melania.
For regular folks like us, a greater than 10 year age difference is just too much to overcome. It happens, but is not the norm and therefore perceived as shocking. "Hi, mom, I'd like you to meet my new girlfriend. She's the same age as you! How cool is that?" lol

If she's 3-5 years older I guess doesn't seem bad unless you dig grannys in their 70's.. as for younger girls the same applies.. or she has to be legal (I'm saying it in a nice way).. or else it just appeals wrong.
