So, since Daffney's birthday the other week I've been on a 2010-era Shimmer kick (what an amazing time - such talent and great crowds with well paced shows) which of course is a reminder of just how great Madison Eagles was in this era. I just looked her up and cagematch says she hasn't had a match since 2020.
Has she said anything about official retirement or is she among those who just are wrestling during the pandemic or has she been competing and it's just harder to find?

According to Cagematch she hasn't wrestled since February 2020.

Like Del Rey and Kong, she came into the wrestling scene way too early.

Like Del Rey and Kong, she came into the wrestling scene way too early. They walked so today's women could run. Right, like it's easy to think of those names or Cheerleader Melissa and think that it'd be great if they could be getting their opportunities now, but they also did a lot to ensure women coming up even had those shots to begin with, raising the relative skill of the whole scene. It's like thinking of a band or artist that would have thrived in a scene they helped create, but they had to create it for that to work to begin with. On the topic at hand, not sure, honestly, with Eagles. The pandemic means she could just be avoiding unnecessary risks, or maybe she's outright done. I don't know.

She’s a co owner and occasional trainer of one of the best indy feds down here in Australia called PWA.
Recently had a child. I’m sure she’s got a few matches left down the road.

I adored Shimmer. Such incredible talent - Melissa, MsChif, Haze, Stock, Lacey, Perez, Del Rey, Roxx, Kong..
... And I think Eagles was better than all of them.
