I love that there's canonically an Earth in the Final Fantasy Universe and we were all killed by Sephiroth.

Sephiroth one of the few Solar System busters in the VS debate community to ACTUALLY destroy a solar system.

I love that there's canonically an Earth in the Final Fantasy Universe and we were all killed by Sephiroth. And yet the fight continued!!! It's like Smoke's fatality in MK3. You blow up the Earth, move on to fight Stryker!

You blow up the Earth, move on to fight Stryker! Then he does it three more times, and you never die because Supernova is a percentage attack.

Didn't Eden from 8 like....create and destroy a galaxy or something? I don't think it creates it... just makes a big like space laser that destroys the Milky Way >_>

I still find it weird that it would just repeat the cinematic if he cast it more than once. "Didn't he destroy that planet already?" "It got better".

It was on my SIXTH attempt that I finally destroyed Sephiroth. I find that surprising. I concluded that he’s one of those final bosses that, while he’s able to tank a lot of damage, your party is so powerful by that point that his loss should be a given. Granted, I’m currently doing a play through of ff7 remake on the hard setting and I’m not sure what he’ll throw at me. I just (as in this afternoon) had to take several attempt to beat Hell House on the hard setting. You know what that smurfing thing does on the hard setting? It spits out tonberries, 3 at a time, as Allies to help it fight. Tonberries! Plural!

It spits out tonberries, 3 at a time, as Allies to help it fight. Tonberries! Plural! Depends on the age you played it, I suppose. Like, FF7 was one my my first RPGs, was around grade 4 when I started playing it. Mentioned it before, but my grasp of the English language wasn't any good back then. Understood well enough, but not things like the concept of giving every summon materia to Cloud, leaving his hit points below 1000. Didn't have any level 4 limit breaks aside from Barret and Vincent, and for the latter it really does not do well since you won't be able to control him. Years later I played the game again and understanding better how RPGs worked, dealt with him easily thanks to understanding some things on how RPGs work. Granted on my first run, in hindsight I thought it was pretty clever that I learnt that casting reflect on the party then casting a spell on the three of them will cause the spell to hit the enemy three times, without even knowing that from a guide.
