I’m seeing a tag match. HTM and young guy TBA vs. Disco Inferno and young guy TBA. Interference from Jerry Lawler, Konnan, and Jimmy Hart. Honky takes no bumps and pins Disco after a guitar shot after the young guys do 98% of the match. If WWE allowed it HTM and Elias vs Disco and Heath Slater (in OMB gimmick). If not then Jarrett instead of Elias. (Double J is going to do very well financially if these "last match ever" deals become a regular occurrence I think.) |

IIRC HTM worked a DCW event a few months ago.
Only know this cause him appearing cause the DCW ,now former,head of social media to message a local indie dude,one who for decades was rumored to be the son of HTM. And DCW guy asked the dude "Is it true your daddy paid HTM with your momma's C*&T?"
Now that I thhink about ti I think HTM pulled out of that event. But I know DCW doesn't add their stuff to cagematch. Partially cause their now former head of social media got banneddd from Cagematch.

Thanks, I didn't feel like clicking on the link. I don't think anyone is dying to see him wrestle one more time, he was good at riling people back in the day as IC champ. He is. He just saw how well the Flair thing drew and is hoping on the bandwaggon. |

He just saw how well the Flair thing drew and is hoping on the bandwaggon. The different is Flair will always been a big star in wrestling and outside of wrestling the last few years Flair been in the mainstream public eye with rappers and commercials to stay relevant in the public eye. HTM for years after his main WWE stays only been working small indies shows up until the 2010s was the last time I heard an booking of him for a match. I recall when he did wrestle in the indies for the last few years of it, he didn't take bumps or very view. |

The Elvis movie just came out so of course Honky wants one more payday while the iron's still hot. Who would he face though?

So is Savage.
Hogan's just as old and beat up. Plus, if Hogan has one left in him, he should save that for his own retirement match.
Billy Gunn could work story-wise, but as a main event?
Jake Roberts maybe? But that's just as problematic as Hogan if not moreso bc Jake.
Some former IC champ claiming they were the best. How about Jericho? Doesn't he still hold the record for most IC title reigns? Plus you could play up the rock star stuff.

It initially went to a post with a pic HTM putting on knee pads, saying he was preparing for one last match. Not sure when it switched to the older Flair article. |
