Of those still on the NXT UK roster, I'd bring over
Rampage Brown - not wrestled in 10 months, injured? Flash Morgan Webster - Though I know he is injured. Dragunov - obviously. Also imjured. A trend. Big Dave Mastiff - always a place for a heavyweight who can go. Teoman - Lots of potential All the women. They are all good or have higher ceilings than many in NXT already. If we had to triage the list, esp Meiko (duh), Jinny, Emilia, Nina, Aoife, Dani and Isla.
If any of these people were sex pests, I was unaware.

Ilja isn't a sex pest, just a serial killer and cannibal (I'm going to keep running that stupid joke into the ground) Also, Rampage Brown should be brought over just because his name's Rampage Brown.

I'm not exactly sure they'd lose the job really. A majority would just be sent to American brands, and even if they did lose their gig.. Aren't they making very little anyway? Like the whole point of NXT UK was to kill off the UK indie scene after PROGRESS became massive and a World of Sport reboot was put in the works. I'm sure they'd all be fine long term. they are probably making decent money not outrageous sums but I don't think the UK has the "independent contractor" stuff to hide behind. It's one of the reasons why NXT UK had like no cuts during the pandemic. Loads of independent contractors in the UK, but we just call them contractors, or self employed.

I'd be surprised if Mastiff and Rampage (and Sha Samuels) got brought over, because they're in their late 30s. Trent Seven's 40, but might have a better chance, because the NXT crowd are more familiar with him from his past appearances.

My point was there are still different rules at least I'm assuming. There are legitimate IC's in America too but theres a lot of loop holes

In some industries, many people prefer it to being an employee.

It's one of the reasons why NXT UK had like no cuts during the pandemic. Nah I'm sure I read they were making really little. Like people who just work in a generic office setting were making more money than them, and they weren't having to take bumps for a living. Apart from merch sales, I'm making more than they make. It's barely equivalent to a 40 hour minimum wage.

I was going to add Sha Samuels but apparently he beat up a ref for real? Kinda. Sha forgot to kick out of a pin, and decided to slam the ref (unplanned, but worked) to get his heat back. Then his partner Bodom decided to kick the piss out of the ref so hard he had to take time out of his day job.

(Samuels, not this Bodon chap.)

I mean that’s probably the right call as there’s wrestlers from all over Europe in the brand. It’s like when the Ryder cup went from USA Vs GB and Ireland to USA Vs Europe.

I just think the general response to something struggling is not to make it even bigger in scope.

Yeah, if you’re committing money to the product might as well try to expand your audience. Being able to do small tours across Europe to potentially expand product visibility is a smart play in my opinion.

"No one really seems to care about NXT UK, let's do something that'll likely make it more of a money sink," is certainly a choice.
