m.youtube.com/watch?v=UagL6vvCjKI&t=178sI had this tape. I don’t know when it was released exactly but the fact that only fragments survived doesn’t say very much about how this footage was taken care of. I mean since the footage was only around 10 years old at the time, how could only fragments only survive? Like I said, I had this tape and the other 5 missing matches volumes. All of the tapes are guilty of false advertising because they would say (Tag Team Wrestling/(wrestler’s name)) The Missing Matches yet there would be some matches that wouldn’t belong on the tape. Also, the run times on the matches are wrong. But other than that, they are fine for what they are and I liked hearing Lance Russell on commentary. As far as the Hogan/Kawler match goes, it says on the back in all caps “THE MATCH HULK DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SEE.” I got this tape in 1993 and I wondered why that was…until I realized that this tape was released during Hulks 1983-1996 face run and this match took place when he was a heel.

God, I got a batch of those tapes as a present circa late '91 or early '92; probably well-meaning relatives who knew I liked wrestling and simply recognized the names on the covers, since I think the ones I got had covers featuring Hogan, Andre, Bundy, and DiBiase/Junkyard Dog.
Given that I was about 6 or 7 at the time I was disappointed as hell to turn them on and see wrestling I couldn't even begin to recognize, and absolutely baffled to see a match where Hogan was a heel. Nowadays I kind of wish I could find those tapes since there's got to be some fun historical stuff on them.

Had this tape as a kid as well and watching it kinda creeped me out. I wasn’t really used to seeing footage in such bad shape, with those weird noises and whatnot. Manny Fernandez(if memory serves)bleeding like f***ing crazy in another match on that tape weirded me out as well.

Fernandez fought Nick Bockwinkle and the last match was the Original Sheik beating Maniac Mark Lewin after throwing a fireball in his face. I also had a Macho Man tape too from the same company. Had him and Lawler in a cage as well as him teaming with brother Lanny against the Rock and Roll Express where he piledrivered Ricky Morton through a table. Also had the Fabulous Ones against the PYT's (Koko B. Ware and Norvell Austin).

Those tapes were prevalent at Toy Liquidators outlet in a strip center going to Ocean City MD around 1992-1993 for me. There was a King Kong Bundy one, one with Rude, Anvil and two others on the cover, an Andre one and one more I can't remember-maybe the one in first post. I was also disappointed in the quality though it was probably decent for filming in the early 1980s. As someone who never got to buy tapes unless they were at a flea market this was a great find for the time, since they were probably pretty cheap and most videos around were Coliseum for $40-60.

When I first saw the Sheik/Lewin match in 1993 on the tape and heard it was loser-leaves-town, I didn’t know exactly what that meant. I heard of career ending matches but not a loser-leaves-town. Years later, I found out what it meant. Also, that ring announcer must have loved to raise his voice. Also, I know Mark’s gimmick was that of a maniac but I found it funny who he sold Sheiks offense by stumbling into the crowd like he’s drunk for several minutes. LOL! As far as tapes go, there was TWO Randy Savage ones (one with him wearing sunglasses and the other one without glasses. No difference as far as tapes go), a King Kong Bundy one, a Hulk one, an Andre one, one that said: “Tag Team Wrestling: The Mussing Matches & a Ted Dibiase one. I believe that was it. The first five also were sold as a box set. The Dibiase one must have cone later.
