As dark as the room can get, ceiling fan/AC/small fan going, boxers, two pillows (have to be special pillows for my neck now because I'm over 35 and my body is falling apart), one blanket (weighted). Even then I might have to take a xanax or some asprin some nights to get to sleep. Not often, just if I'm achy or anxious.

Flat on my back, usually one foot sticking out of the covers, with my weighted blanket and season appropriate comforter over top of it. Usually have TV on, with my AirPods in and both dogs sleeping beside me.
Sidenote, went from a shitty old 6” flat mattress to a 12” eurotop this past weekend and it’s changing my f***ing life. My sleep has improved 10 fold atleast

Ceiling fan on high. Box fan on high on my nightstand aimed at me. Two quilts. Sleeping on either side.

On my side, because of my back hunched over so lying on my back is impossible. Fan pointed at me, because it's a tropical climate. If possible, shower before bed so I'll feel colder. Blanket very thin, just so mosquitos won't bother my body. Shorts and nothing else, again due to the usual heat. Pillow on head the right amount of firmness. Too soft, and I'll wake up with head and neck aches. Pillow between knees, due to arthritis I can really feel if my knee is against my other knee.
Smoke before sleep. Then a glass of cold water. If booze is in the equation, then booze, smoke, and cold water so I can fall into a coma.
Quiet if possible. Don't mind waking up to noise. But quiet when lying down. Just the sound of the fan is enough.
Bed's orthopedic. Not soft. Quite firm. I feel better than a soft bed so I can easily roll out of it when I wake up. Make me sleep on something too soft, then I won't be able to get out of bed due to aches.

limited light, no noise, under my blanket on my left side. Two pillows under my head, one at my side.

It's funny how it takes me forever to fall asleep in a nice comfy bed yet it takes like 3 seconds to fall asleep as I'm sitting upright in my office about 45 minutes after lunch.

With a fan going, shirtless at the very least (sometimes totally nude or at least commando under my sweats), on my side, with two pillows under my head and one pillow between my legs, due to... issues lol

On my side, relegated to approximately 1/3 of the bed, with an 85 lb fur covered furnace snoring next to me.

Blackout shades down, curtains drawn, fan on, every source of light off.
On my side, under a sheet and light blanket. I wake up multiple times but quickly fall back asleep.
In bed until 4:45-5 a.m. then it's time to walk the dogs.
