From what I can tell Scott Hall was always more friendly with the lower card guys and would take them under his wing (for better or worse) and he was usually the guy most willing to lose to whoever That's cause Razor was never a mark for himself. He knew what the business was. Its all a show. A performance. Nobody really "wins" anything. You win when you make the most money. Which he did. Razor didn't give a f*** about losing some fake matches if it meant he would get paid good for it. And that's the way it should be. That's why he was never World Champion. He didn't want the hassle of carrying it around everywhere. There's an element of truth to it, sure, but he did at least entertain the idea at least once. When he got the WCW offer, he did give Vince two options that'd have him consider staying: Give him fewer dates like WCW would, which he knew Vince couldn't do but he at least wanted to give him the opportunity, and the other option was to make him world champion, which Vince also shot down. Having the world title would have meant more money and upping his value, and would have demonstrated commitment from Vince to make staying worth his while. Still, I think by shooting both of those down, it was clear Vince knew he didn't have anything to offer Razor he hadn't already given him.

From lots of shoots, it seems like Shawn was definitely the most toxic one. Hall had his demons, but people respected his ideas and his work and he generally got along with most people. Many guys have had good things to say about Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman. Even Shane Douglas has said he likes Nash, but that he was different around his friends. Waltman I think people got tired of his issues, but when he had his head on straight he got along with most everyone and was a tremendous worker. Shawn (and to a lesser extent Triple H) seems to be the one that drew all the heat. But part of that is likely because he was Vince's boy that got to work on top the most. And he was talented to boot.

Wonder who got in Hall's ear about that one. TBF Douglas was the proto CM Punk his own worst enemy who didn't see a bridge he didn't hate to burn

Remember when HBK won the WWF Championship in 1996 and they said "the Clique" was all of his fans?

Except Douglas. Wonder who got in Hall's ear about that one. TBF Douglas was the proto CM Punk his own worst enemy who didn't see a bridge he didn't hate to burn CM Punk as Shane Douglas where he literally doesn't talk about anything except how much he hates Colt Cabana and the time he threw the mic down in the middle of this ring. Also he pukes in the ring like a cat.
