Yeah, that fight at HW took away the rest of that spark and then got to remember he was 35 as well. Tarver def beat him in that first fight imo and then once he got his ass laid out against Glen Johnson you knew it was done I reqatched that first fight recently and I have to say I wonder what folks are talking about because Tarver gave that fight away by being inactive a lot of rounds only doing things in the first 4 rounds then maybe the last two rounds. But even then they were toss-up rounds because Tarver was inactive too those rounds and had those 10-30 secons bursts It was def more so about what Tarver didn't do then what Jones did in the first right but he shut the door down for the 2nd and 3rd fights Those are fights Roy Jones def want back |
