Emma really isn't that good anymore. I think her lack of speed isn't good for being a face, and there's not as many range of emotions from her in that role compared to when she's a heel. I remember her showing anger in a backstage Impact segment while still in that company, and personally found it hilarious considering how laid-back she usually is on-screen. As for Lacey, she's had a rough go with her character throughout her WWE run, but I hope she'll be able to stick to one alignment for at least a year that works with the crowd.

Hopefully for her sake I'm wrong but I think they've stopped and started so many times with her that fans are going to struggle to care even if she starts getting a decent push. Her whole presentation is shot. Too many turns, gimmick changes, etc. They need to send her back to NXT and find her something totally new and fresh. Her original NXT gimmick could have worked but Vince called her up too soon with no idea on what to do with her. Hence weeks of walking up and down the ramp, and a very tired fans stink gimmick. Best idea I have heard here is a tag team with Shotzi and doing a pin up gimmick building off her NXT stuff. Would sending her back to NXT even work at this point? My first thought reading this thread was that she needed some time off television for them to figure out what to do with her, but then I remembered that she was off television almost a year having her child. Then she came back and they f***ed her up at least three more times.

I would agree heel definitely suits her better both in ring and in promos/backstage segments. She can be more methodically and work a pace more suited for her and like you said it seems more compatible with her range wise as she can be the aloof arrogant beauty who every once in a while can express anger when the situation calls for it. I didn't see much of her Impact run but it seemed like her heel run with the influencer gimmick was probably the best she was ever used as far as character and presentation goes. It always perplexes that no matter where she goes companies first instinct is to always book her as a face initially despite her clearly being a natural heel. It never works and then they turn her heel and she instantly becomes way more effective.
