Why doesn't Pacquiao get as much criticism for his resume as Floyd does?
Pacquiao fought David Diaz, who was AT BEST, the 5th best lightweight in the world at the time, for a belt. He fought Cotto at a catchweight, Margarito, who had already been busted for using plaster, for a vacant strap at 154, Hatton, who Floyd had already beaten, Rios, who was tailor-made for him, Matthysse, who was past-it, Algieri, who went life and death with limited Provodnikov, and Thurman, who was coming off a long layoff.

His other resume is criticized unfortunately that other one is his political resume so we can't talk about that here

The simplest answer I can give you is that his fights weren’t boring. Mayweather’s fights made it look like his opponents just weren’t that good to the average observer. Pacquiao’s fights to the casual fan made it look like Pacquiao was just that good.

Mayweather beat Pacquiao.
The top guy is always going to get more criticism than the second banana.

Because Pacquiao was never the most vocal guy in English, and by the end of his career it was pretty much widely accepted that he wasn't really an upper echelon guy. That Jeff Horn fight/sideshow was the last nail in the coffin.

Most of the negative coverage Floyd was getting always felt less like "we take issue with this boxer's professional performance" and more like "we hate this guy because he's an asshole and are gonna pick holes in his professional career for it" to me. Also Manny never boxed Logan Paul or took essentially hit jobs from Ryzin whenever one of their flyweights made noise about leaving.

Dude won world titles from Flyweight to Welterweight and beat top guys along the way, often in spectacular fashion. He gets the appropriate amount of praise in my view. Not the greatest but certainly an all time legend.

Pacquiao had wars in the ring in his prime and people forget how remarkable it was with how he was moving up in weight do these fights. Yes, he fought a few over the hill fighters but that is the nature of boxing. Him and Juan Manuel Marquez def took years off their careers with their craziness

I don’t know, for me, Pac was fun to watch while Mayweather was boring as shit. Undeniably skilled and talented, but boring as shit.

Pac gets praise. And gets negative remarks.
Every boxer ever faces boxers who are over the hill. It's the nature of the sport.
