Back when they were still trying to get Mark Henry over huge in the 1990s he was supposed to be standing up for Jake Roberts against Jerry Lawler. Lawler made a drunk joke and Henry busts out laughing. Then he tries to save it by saying, “That’s really not funny though.” One I’ve seen argued as ruining the segment is Marty Jannetty being inducted into the kiss my ass club. However, I’d argue Marty didn’t really ruin the segment though because those things were always stupid to begin with. Plus, there’s no shortage of stuff to criticize Marty for already. Lastly, not a laugh, but just this pic:

You say “ruined”, I say “massively improved”.

I mean, it was ruined already, but Ole Anderson losing it while he was supposed to be doing the Shockmaster voice took it from a Level 9 disaster to a Level 22.

Killer Kross in Bloodsport was the giggliest man to ever live at the expense of the whole match.

The best parts were Booker T’s “who is this muthaf***er?” and how Bulldog was all “he fell on his arse!” Also Ric Flair’s subtle “I told you.”

Oh, God." Sid apparently had been telling people during the day that the stunt was going to go poorly because of how it had been set it up. Dusty Rhodes mentioned on one of the "Legends of Wrestling" roundtables that there was a 2x4 nailed across the bottom of the wall that wasn't there when they practiced the segment.

I want to say there was a segment when Russo first arrived in WCW, and they had the Nitro Girls feuding thing. SpiceI think was being humiliated while unconscious, yet she was laughing as it happened.

How about laughing ruining another segment by proxy:
In early 1999 Al Snow was legit out on his feet in a hardcore match with Road Dogg which led to a blown spot where Dogg was to have knocked down Snow with a chair shot but Al in his state kept no selling the shots and laughing them off.
This if course prompted Mick Foley in a later segment to poke fun at his pal with the zinger "I heard Al Snow lost his endorsement deal with La-Z-Boy furniture because he can't sell chairs."
Which then prompted Al to fire back on Mick on commentary with a barrage of lame jokes on the following episode of RAW, so much so that Shane McMahon complained to Mick that Al's retort tanked whatever segment he was featured in.

While the segment wasnt ruined you can clearly see Stacy Keibler laughing (Or holding a laugh in should I say) during a spot in the Gravy Bowl Match with Trish Stratus in 2001

TBF that actually worked with Snow's delusional hardcore character. He also laughed(while also screaming in pain) when Shamrock applied the anklelock to him months earlier. As far as when laughing DID ruin a segment(at least for me) was at the end of RAW in early 2005 when Kane and Snitsky both fell off the ramp to close the show and Snitsky had a huge grin on his face. Does anybody remember that?
