I support the rail strikes. But having to take a bus to the arena is stretching that

Pre-show ceremony for Inoki. Wrestlers and staff came out for a tribute, including 10 bell salute and his full entrance music. Crowd acted perfectly, touching tribute overall.

I’m expecting Okada to wear a lot of Inoki tribute gear fir the time being. Same with Tanahashi That will be weird from as certain point of view but, Inokiism aside, Tanahashi idolizes Inoki and Inoki liked him, as well.

Results from Day 1 {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}
Managed to make it to the venue just in time for the first match. Stress. Few notes. It was definitely more a b/c level, Koraeuken road to show. Was fun though. Ring seemed... off. Like it wasn't taut enough which affected some moves off the top like the high fly flow.
Results from Day 1
Gabriel Kidd defeated Dan Maloney Good opener, both bought the intensity. Actually think Maloney looked better. Michael Oku and Ricky Knight Jr defeated Great O-Khan and Gideon Grey A showcase for Oku and RSJ. Both went for it and hit some big spots. Hilarious moment as the ref refused to count because RSJ wasn't the legal man but the finish came straight after and I guess RSJ magically became legal in that moment. Alex Windsor and Ava White defeated Kanji and Jazzy Gabert Not much to report. Ava White looked terrible, but Kanji has a really fun underdog baby face vibe. Los Ingobernables de Japon defeated Suzukigun Mostly comedy spots tbh. Fun but in a very house show kinda way. Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii defeated Bad Dude Tito and Zak Knight Tito throw his shirt to the crowd and it got stuck on the production scaffolding. Crowd came alive for Okada but match was nothing note worthy. Zak Knight looked bad. Tsuji came out after the match to challenge Ishii for tomorrow. His hair is incredible. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tama Tonga, Hikuleo and Jade defeated Jay White, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows and Gedo Crowd was in full 'this is a comedy night' mode here. Festus chants etc. Crowd did come alive when Tonga and White faced off, with the crowd pretty evenly split. Fun for what it was, a house show multi man match. Will Ospreay defeated Shota Umino Weird match and vibe. The crowd was in full it's a house show mode and Red Shoes was getting most of the chants. Some people HATED Ospraey but mostly positive. Someone had made an Ospraey < Omega sign. Ospready posed with it then threw it back into the crowd snd it nearly decapitated someone. Genuinely someone could have got hurt. After jokey chants and not much heat, an amazing series of spots ending with Ospraey reversing an Umino hurricanrana into a powerbomb woke everyone up and people realised a proper match was happening. The ending came out of nowhere. Ospraey hit a SICK looking powerbomb. Umino barely moved after that and Will got on top with the elbows until Red Shoes stopped the match. For a moment people were worried about Umino after the powerbomb but nah just a great sell job. Best performance I've seen from Umino since his match against Tanahashi. The ring seemed to interrupt Will's flow though. FTR defeated Aussie Open to retain The IWGP Tag Titles.
Great f***ing match. ftr are super over as baby faces. Went 30+ minutes but flew by. After massive ovations for both teams, they struggled to get the crowd reacting how they wanted to until an amazing powerplex spot. Crowd was all in at that point. Dax and Mark Davis have great chemistry and both bled. Double sharpshooters to Aussie Open led to rhem doing the holding each others hand spot. Some phenomenal near falls. Great main event and well worth going out of your way to see
Transport was a nightmare to and from, but we'll worth going. If you're watching once it's posted I'd just watch the main.
