I honestly wouldn't be outraged if he did. Ultimately I'm a wrestling fan for entertainment, and he's entertaining to me for the most part, even if I think Phil Brooks is a douchecanoe.
I don't want him to implode a wrestling company I enjoy though. So if AEW feels like he is too toxic, fine with me as well.

I’m a huge fan of his work, and liked his run, but no. He crossed a line and I no longer want to see him.
I would only be willing to reconsider him if he genuinely showed some real humility and publicly took responsibility for his actions, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I wouldnt be devastated if I never saw him again but he's still one of the best at the pro wrestling thing so yes.

What he did there's no coming back from. Bret Hart slugged Vince and it took him decades to reappear. So I'd say never say never but its a new age of social media so the stain of what he did will follow him the rest of his life

Nah- As someone who was a big fan of his, I feel like I have my closure from his previous departure from WWE. I got to see him comeback and loved it, and then got to see that he was done mentally, emotionally and physically. The bridge looks burned and while they could do a heel run for him someday, I don’t think I want to see him anymore.

Would obviously like to see some sort of reconciliation and whatnot as it’s such a needlessly bitter note to end on, but that path seems a billion miles away now and begrudge no one for not wanting to walk it.

No, he's had his 5 minutes back in the spotlight and screwed it up. Plenty of people to fill his spot.

Hard pass.
Despite having great moments and some great feuds, dude decided to piss it all away in his 15 minute verbal temper tantrum...
Time for Tony Khan to cut his losses and move towards the future...

I'd be quite happy if he just retired honestly.

If he’s somehow able to get something professional going with the parties he needs, he can come and try again, but I don’t see that happening. I was actually enjoying his run up until the Colt Cabana bug snuck up his ass again and he got all spiteful.

If he were willing to take some acts of genuinely trying to own up to and make up for what he did I'd be open to it, provided he were kept on a short leash, but honestly taking a step back I haven't really enjoyed his return anyway. Guess the highlight was the MJF feud and that definitely had some great stuff in it but ultimately it dragged on too long, I didn't like their first match, and I didn't see their second so I don't really feel like I'd be losing out not getting more stuff like it going forward.

If he was genuinely willing to apologize and make amends with folks, great. I don't think it's in the cards, though.
That said, I'm seeing a lot of revisionist history (not as much here) around the internet on his run, with some folks even comparing him to Warrior WCW. Even if he flamed out at the end, he had one of the best one-year runs in pro wrestling history. If not for the way in which things turned at the end (largely of his own doing), he'd still be the company's top babyface.

Yeah I do hope to see him come back. Regardless of how he may be as a person, I still found him entertaining and was enjoying his AEW run despite the horrible luck of getting two back to back injuries. I think there is still some milage with Punk in terms of who he can work with (granted one of them is a person he probably won't be working with anytime soon) and I hate to see his big return end on such a downer note.

There should be a "Yes, but only if..." option. I wouldn't have to be in the same lockerroom as Punk so as long as those who would are okay with him coming back, then who am I to say no? I think he still has stuff to give AEW if he can grow up a bit.

Guess I’ll be the one of the few that actually want Punk back and say yes. I don’t blame him for what happened. In fact, I actually agree with Punk and Cornette and think the Elite camp started a lot of this. I don’t know what to say if you don’t think members of the Elite haven’t played favorites with some of their backstage antics and being in positions of power.
I wasn’t really watching AEW on a regular basis anyway, but Punk being gone gives me even less of a reason to watch.

In fact, I actually agree with Punk and Cornette and think the Elite camp started a lot of this. You should blame him for what happened. It was his choice to bury Hangman and The Elite while chomping muffins, and it's been all but confirmed that Punk threw the first punch in the brawl after The Elite took him up on his offer to come talk to him (and they had a lawyer in tow).

Can we admit the run sucked now? From his "I left wrestling in 2005" bs. To his sloppy, botch filled matches. Getting out promoed by MJF. Being upset that Hangman used a shooty comment. Like... f*** off dude. You didn't deserve the main event of Wrestlemania and now that HHH runs the WWE, you'll probably be forgotten. I never felt like MJF out promoed him.
