Anybody else remember when AEW first started and TK said something along the lines of he's got a binder with about two years' worth of booking and angles? I'd have to go back and find the interview because I can't recall if those plans were implied to be specific to the Elite or if they were more broad and flexible, but I do feel like that was at least the basis of the big drawn-out Hangman/Kenny angle if nothing else.
I know day one Universe Bibles tend to get thrown out or heavily modified in the vast majority of scripted shows anyway, but even accounting for all the injuries and drama, AEW seemingly flailing with long-term storytelling week-to-week despite still being able to have awesome individual Dynamites or Rampages, sure feels like he's run through everything that was in the two-year plan and is scrambling now.
I don't quite want to compare it to Game of Thrones passing the books, but it does definitely seem to have a similar aimlessness to a point.
