Mike Rotunda has to be one of those guys who did wrestling pretty much right, isn't he?
Seems like he was good with his money, retired with his health, no major scandals that I know of, but he'll show up for a one-off here and there, especially if it helps his boys in any capacity.

This is why Bray wants to be a cult leader: religious tax exemption.

IRS is doing well for a man who died in a shrimp boat fire.

I came in hoping for a tax-related tweet and I was not disappointed. Thank you, Mr Rotunda.

It's an amazing coincidence that he's a tax man and his initials happen to spell IRS. Did he get into the tax business because of his initials? Like someone with initials DR becoming a doctor?

And then tried to keep the family tradition alive in the next generation, since the sons didn't want to: EDIT: Thinking about it, if Mika wanted to come in, she might be a fun partner for Kiana James in NXT.

Mike Rotunda rules. IRS is a terrible gimmick that he absolutely hit a home run with and it still lives on today.

Mike is very underappreciated and a fantastic worker who made Irwin R work,a great guy to have both in ring and backstage.

In my weird imagined headcanon, Mika represents the taxman - the only terror that exceeds The Fiend

Absolutely one of wrestling's smartest guys. Ventura said to Jericho - it's not how much you make it's how much you save. Most guys made more money than Mike. Most guys spent more money than Mike.

I really miss the early 90s era when everybody had a gimmick. Nowadays there's too many regular guys. I'd much rather watch Duke the Dumpster Droese or Jean Pierre Lafitte than Johnny Gargano or Austin Theory for example. Maybe it's just me but I get my entertainment in wrestling out of the wacky, corny characters, vignettes and attires. I can appreciate a good match but only if there's a story involved.

Rotunda always struck me being a strait-laced guy who had his crap together so this doesn't surprise me. He was pretty lazy in the ring during his IRS run but at the same time it was smart on his part as the WWF road schedule was brutal back then. As a result he avoided injury as I don't recall him ever missing time and ended up well off when his career was over.
