Shingo and Taichi's match next Monday follow Texas Deathmatch rules. You pin the opponent and then they have a 10 count to make it to their feet. Since they have been fighting all over arenas the past month, Lumberjacks will be there to keep them in the ring. I have a feeling Shingo will be having a KOPW match against BxB Hulk at the Dome. I also think that Shingo will also wrestle for Dragon Gate’s Open the Dream Gate title against Yuki Yoshioka sometime soon.

Meltzer is backing up the report that Sasha will be at WK now as well. There was a clip on twitter today of him saying she will be at WK and has additional dates. That anything can change but as of now she’s done with WWE. so I guess they didn’t freeze her contract?

First time in awhile I'll be subbing to New Japan World I think. Could be a very interesting show coming up.

I just need a 25min or longer murder fest between Sasha and SLK.
Everything else she does is a bonus but I need that match.

You've gotta wonder what the plans are for Tanahashi, Naito and Shingo, they've got nothing going on for Wrestle Kingdom.

Give me Naito vs RUSH and Tanahashi vs literally anyone in AEW for WK, you can give those guys crossover matches without burning any appeal for Forbidden Door 2 Man that just got me thinking about an MJF/Tanahashi mini feud and god that would be stellar, the purest of pure boys in wrestling vs MJF...

NJPW Vs AEW is not appealing to me unless it’s people who have had not been there or had minimal interaction like a Miro
As good as MJF is, he’s not keeping up with that pace

At this point I’m thinking there has to be some special tag match to get guys on the show, and I’m not talking about a NEVER 6-man gauntlet (ideally). We had Muta’s last NJPW match, so maybe Mutoh’s last match is the feature – Mutoh/Tana/Umino vs. Naito/SANADA/Shingo or something like that. Would prefer better for everyone, but the sun’s getting low.
Then you have guys who worked hard this year that the fans love like Taichi and Tama who are also on the outside looking in.

I don't think that legally one can freeze out a contract longer than normal end of the contract. Also if Sasha had fulfilled the number of contracted dates stipulated in her contract then she's well within her rights to sit out her contract, just like what happened with PAC.

Freezing it is specifically done to force a longer contract length. Rey was stuck forever. Many people had months added because of injury…which is way worse than doing it to someone who isn’t honoring it on purpose. Maybe she completed enough dates but she walked a long time ago.

And considering she has missed a lot of time I assume if they wanted they could go after her but I don't think the headache is really worth it. Let her walk. If a wrestler is unhappy, no need to keep them and that should go for all companies

Apparently Sasha's being paid a lot of money, even more than what Jericho got.

Apparently Sasha's being paid a lot of money, even more than what Jericho got. Given Jericho was paid 100k per match, apparently, that's pretty wild. Though, I wonder if they mean in yen, the value of which has gone down considerably compared to USD in the years since Jericho was in NJPW. Either way, the goal is like the same, to push streaming numbers up. I suppose we'll see if Sasha stans put their money where their mouth is.

The only match I care slightly about on this card is Okada/White
Omega/Ospreay while will be a great match does not interest me. I don’t care for Omega winning the nor do I care for Ospreay retaining

FTR will defend against Bishamon. Which I’m somewhat fine as I like Goto and Yoshi Hashi is getting his due However, I’d more so want Goto back in the NEVER division and at some point Okada better win the tag titles with Yoshi Hashi

When it comes to women's sport there's a recurring pattern of few putting their money where their mouth is. Tbf there's always a limit on how much time/money people have.
