Wow this became the TNA thread quickly...
And no ECW or XPW or the like?

Wow this became the TNA thread quickly... And no ECW or XPW or the like? Recency bias. I can think of one incident from ECW that offended a lot of people to the point where apologies needed to be issued, but I'm pretty sure discussing it would violate board rules.

Back in the day when babyfaces would say racist stuff about the heels was pretty bad.
There’s one example by Jerry Lawler in Memphis that made Lance Russell visibly wince.

Bubba Ray in ECW was a full on cringe fest like 98% of the time.

Bubba Ray in ECW was a full on cringe fest like 98% of the time. Except the one where he Buh-Buh'ed his way with Lady Alexandria to "Big Tits". My wife laughs about that to this day.

The Mass Transit incident remains one of the most "how did Heyman not go to prison" things among many.

Whichever indy promotion that put out Scott Hall in the ring when he had to literally be carried out there. Disgusting.
Pretty much any time that someones real life addictions are brought out in storylines. Scott Hall in WCW, Hawk and Jake Roberts in the WWF.

Wow this became the TNA thread quickly... And no ECW or XPW or the like? XPW didn't really offend me because they seemed to be trying so hard to With the exception of booking New Jack against Grimes in a scaffold match

I don't think offended is the right word, but the only time I wanted to reach through the TV and punch someone was when Shane Douglas roughed up Pitbull 1, wearing the halo after the neck break. I guess they worked me good.

The Mass Transit incident remains one of the most "how did Heyman not go to prison" things among many. Heyman I always figured was largely blameless because the kid, his father and the little person wrestler all vouched for him and lied about his age. New Jack on the other hand... Yeah he was just being a depraved asshole.

Worst thing about it was that Razor was recovering from a seizure, he wasn't even drunk. Asshole promoter was essentially humiliating him for having a medical emergency and lying to the fans about it.

Wow this became the TNA thread quickly... And no ECW or XPW or the like? How about the toxic hardcore crap that ECW popularised in north american wrestling? Guys who shouldn't really be wrestling either due to their drug addictions or lack of skill giving oneanother concussions while the crowd chants for the company, not for them.

I am not calling him at all someone who had the same potential, really, but it's a shame for the guy that Jeff Hardy got away with working WWF at 16 through Jay Strongbow being stupid, but Mass Transit had this happen to him. Maybe in another world, he got more fortunate.

Yeah he was just being a depraved asshole. You'd think having someone need their parent with them to vouch for their age would be a red flag in and of itself. Still, if there was any doubt he should not have put them in a match with someone as dangerous as New Jack, Heyman may not have known who Mass Transit was, but he sure as hell knew what a POS Jack is.

If nothing else this incident proves that Heyman should not have been booking New Jack at all

TNA had a.... lot of these. Their treatment of Daffney and Roxxi springs to mind. Oh god, the way Roxxi was fired was one of the first things that really turned my stomach, and I'm someone who was raised to be hardened towards almost everything.

It absolutely has to be TNA sending a clearly messed up Jeff Hardy out to wrestle Sting, incredibly stupid and irresponsible

TNA once did an angle where a dude lost his prosthetic leg in a match.
