If it is a perm move, I think Nakamura back in NXT is a smart move. I also don't mind Theory cashing in his case in NXT is a bad choice as well. You can argue it devalues the case but they have done a good job making all titles viable options

Now if Theory doesn’t cash in on the NXT title I’ll be disappointed.

It’s the best solution as Roman’s not dropping his titles any time soon and they’re not gonna wait until next year for Theory to do the cash-in.

I think it was just for one night, but I don't think Nak would mind going back permanently. Dude would love being able to surf a lot more.

Must feel like a demotion for Theory. Start of the year, it looked like he was going to be a main event star on the roster before long, then Vince leaves and now he's back in NXT.
It would be hilarious if he does a Hernandez and cashes in at the start of the Triple Threat at HH, turning the match into a four way, though I suspect he's keeping the case after Crown Jewel so that Logan Paul dumps him on his ass.

Theory is trash. I hope he uses his case on the 24/7 title and loses

Like I said in the live thread, I want Dragunov to win most but I'd prefer Theory cashing in to Bron retaining or JD winning.

That ring announcer isn't very good.

What if they allowed the MITB to be cashed in like the 24/7 title and as long as you have a ref. Theory could catch Roman slipping at a Carl’s Jr.

Eh... not really since there was never a chance Austin was going to cash in and win against Roman. Yeah, his best case scenario was getting a competitive match with Roman and losing or involving himself in a match where he would pulled a Rollins but didn't get pinned to lose so he keeps his heat as far as never losing the case Having him tease a cash in on NXT is a smart pivot especially with a lot of people way over him on the totem pole. Like I said before I think he is a good talent who they were going to give too much too fast. A "step back" is probably what is best for him. He is still only 25 years old

Nice touch with Nak wearing yellow and black for his NXT return.

Like I said before I think he is a good talent who they were going to give too much too fast. A "step back" is probably what is best for him. He is still only 25 years old yeah this is the absolute best case scenario for Theory from a storyline and character perspective. He can win the NXT title, and for him to win it will be a step up (never thought I'd say that) for the belt as he's solid enough to be a champion in NXT, but not quite there yet to be a main title holder on the main roster. Let him earn his way with a nice title reign with the NXT belt, and give the fans a reason to give a shit about him other than "kinda Tyler Breeze, but different". He has the tools, but he needs to sharpen them first. This is the perfect way to do that. That way when he does go back to Raw or SD he'll have way more cred than he did being rocket pushed by Vince before anyone OTHER than Vince was ready for it. The fans will have had a chance to acclimate to him as champion, see what he's like as a champion, and what he brings to the table other than Vince's new toy. I still want Ilja to win, but I wouldn't be opposed to Theory winning, and feuding with Ilja, or Ilja just getting called up altogether so we can get Gunther vs. Dragonuv 3.

Theory cashing in on the NXT Title would literally finish his career. There's nothing they can do that will make him look like a bigger idiot than this.
Shades of Kaval using his guaranteed title match on the IC Title.

Theory is trash. I hope he uses his case on the 24/7 title and loses be funnier if he didn't cash in on that, randomly wins the 24/7 title gets hit with wwe's most deadly move and the person doing the roll up wins both the 24/7 title and the money in the bank contract unintentionally.
