I specifically mean, do you want to keep character or do you want it to be a peak into their personal lives?
I think Matt Cardona may use social media the best in all of wrestling. Kinda toes the line, as his character is just an exaggeration of his real life personality.
Or do you like when the characters are put to the side and its just their real lives.
I bring this up, because I really like the work Smart Mark Sterling is doing right now, but when I watch the Major Pod, I forget that he's not a prick, but just a nice human being

I guess it depends on the framing of the account. Are the socials person based (@realname, etc.) or character advertising heavy? I prefer line-walking favoring kayfabe. Most heels or faces aren't 100% evil/good. I know that you are playing a character, but if all your social media is blatantly character labeled, then you should play along with the character. Tom Cruise doesn't tweet as Jerry Maguire, true, but he also doesn't advertise himself as a character, just Tom Cruise.

Nyla and Cardona are the best in the game...
Becky's game used to be great and even though it was similar to guys like Sammy G you could tell it was kayfabe.
I hate the blended reality on social media because of how impressionable people are. "Working" people has changed a bit and you have to take in consideration the long term effects...
Back in the day you left a town burning and drove away...It's not as easy now a days

Complete opposite. The celebrities I follow I follow for their real works opinions on matters serious and trivial. I like wrestling accounts that do the same.

Whichever is more entertaining, honestly. MJF is much better in character, while there's no issue with someone like Matt Cardona going in and out of kayfabe.

I generally despise accounts that keep kayfabe. I know it's all a work, keep it on TV.

Eh, I dislike Social Media a LOT so I don't really follow it and if it was never mentioned here I'd never hear anything about how the wrestlers use it tbh. BUT, since it apparently HAS to be used these days then I do like it when they keep in character on it.

I think of social media as completely non-canon, so I suppose they can do whatever they like, but it gets weird when they try to further angles there and you aren't quite sure what's happening, e.g. Nattie and Rhonda.

I think I liked how Brody used it and how Mox uses it the most.

No, kayfabe is dead. It's dumb to pretend otherwise.

Rather it be more of them being their real selves and not working on adhering to their characters. Nothing makes me unfollow someone quicker than "turning heel" on one's fans after turning heel on the show. Gets really dumb. Even though MJF doesn't break character though, I will say he is a fun follow.

If a guy is smart, he can use it to get himself some decent opportunities because all it takes is a few bot accounts to like, share or retweet a match, .gif or pic to make it look like he has a big following. From experience, I know promoters will put on a shitbag if they think his social media will get views or whatever for the show.
Too many guys, myself included, don’t separate the real person from the gimmick. They end up using their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for political hot takes or whatever, which gets them a bad reputation in the area and can really hurt them. On the other hand, I know a lot of guys who’d drop slurs all over the place, but then put up a black square or Pride flag because they knew it make them look good.

Eh depends on what they do with it
If it’s like Nyla Rose who is genuinely funny but also kinda fits the character they portray then great but it depends on what they are character wise
Actually scratch that. Just do what Nyla Rose does

You can promote your feuds, but everyone knows the score, you can drop the mask a little I’d say (and so long as you’re not saying anything too nuts).

Everyone should just use social media to dunk on Serpentico exclusively.
