History was made in New York last night as during a triple threat tag match between The LA Dojo, Motorcity Machineguns and Aussie Open, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin walked away the new Strong Tag Champions, becoming the second holders of the tag belts. Already they are receiving challenges from The Mighty Don't Kneel.
This is their second title victory in New Japan Pro Wrestling, having won The IWGP Jr. Tag Titles back in 2009 at Wrestle Kingdom 3

I know it's not super likely, they obviously have other priorities, but I'd love to see them successfully defend against a team on AEW sometime, maybe against Private Party. That'd be a good match.

I was hoping to see MCMG on AEW more after their PPV appearance. They're still fantastic and Sabin looking more and more like Paul McGann with each passing year just makes me love him more.

I do wish instead of that 6 man tag match at All Out that it was just the MCMG vs. FTR. That would've f***ing ruled. Huge missed opportunity. Par for the course I suppose.

It'd have been cool, but would also be giving away a match early that NJPW would want to do themselves later, likely, it's a balancing act.

I get that these guys are innovative and talented but I honestly hate them. That said they clearly are best together so I am glad they are out there doing well
