we used to have fun filters for some of those words, but people campaigned for a long time for them to be changed as "we're mostly adults here and should be able to use curse words" so the admin at the time changed the filters.
and the words you've listed would be heard in films pg-13

I think most people use the non-filtered words in pretty non-offensive ways.

Something that comes off as "I really want to use the N word uncensored" is a hell of a first post. The forum is USA-based, so the c-word is considered a far worse and offensive word than several of the uncensored words allowed compared to the UK, Australia, etc. Shit, along with the Japanese name thing mentioned earlier, is also a considerably less offensive word than it was this time even a few years ago. I'd argue the N-word is a great deal more offensive and vulgar than any of the other censored or uncensored words.
Basically, the words censored are ones that get you an R rating. The ones uncensored you can still skate by with a PG-13 rating.
