That was an all time shit final drive attempt by New England, holy shit Hate to nitpick but this is the Baseball thread. If you want to shit on a Boston team you'll have to wait to see if the Red Sox let Xander walk.

Lots of contenders could use an ace like that. I wish the Cards were in on him.

I think he's being hurt by the number of great batters on the market and with the league getting rid of the shifts I can see more teams putting focus on offense. Also Verlander and DeGrom being on the market sort of muddies the water. As usual nothing really moves until top free agent gets their deal He should most likely command a good 5 or 6 year contract. His market should heat up once Verlander and DeGrom are off unless he goes for the first deal he sees

Based on his White Sox numbers, he's still looked upon as a half-season guy that had an actual honest-to-goodness full season (!!!) . No surprise the Twins are in on him; he's beat them down numerous times. (As a Sox fan, they've been in on many "White Sox killers" that turned into kittens.)

Yeah, I'm sure if he didn't have the injury history that more teams would be willing to pay the price that will probably be over 100 mil. The problem is there are so few pitchers on the market who have his upside that won't cost insane money, like DeGrom.

I heard a lot of noise about the Yankees being interested in Rodon but they're not moving any major signings until Judge decides where he goes.

A Verlander with Wheeler and Nola is a really good looking rotation, especially with Ranger as the fourth coming into his own.

Yeah, this could one of a few ways Either Yanks sign Judge and follow it up with another big time deal (Verlander) or they potentially miss out on Judge and left scrambling and don't really get any their top targets Cashman knows just bringing back Judge will not suffice for this off season

Phillies so far seem to be more attracted to a bat and losing Bryce for half the season may give them more urgency in getting a top bat but another pitcher would be welcomed for them

Miguel Cabrera says he is retiring after the 2023 season You mean to tell me Miguel Cabrera didn't retire 4 years ago? He should have. That wrist injury zapped him of all his power as he legit had a chance to crack 600 homeruns or more if healthy Feels like his prime was a lifetime ago tho his last great season was in 2016
