What was that Feud between Down Marie and Torrie about? Why was her dad involved?

I think Dawn wanted Al's money or something and Torrie was like "plz that's my dad" and then Al died in canon

Dawn seduced Al Wilson to upset Torrie, because... uhh... she felt like it, I guess. Maybe she stood to gain financially, but they seemed to mostly focus it on her spiting Torrie and trying to humiliate her with the experience by proxy.

The reason for the feud - It was the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression Era.

To give Paul Heyman an excuse to have two hot women make out with each other.
The End.

Because Dawn either fancied Torrie or just wanted to mess with her after losing a lingerie competition and yes those are 2 legit possible reasons.
The feud started after Torrie won a bikini contest against Nidia and Dawn then challenged and lost to Torrie in a lingerie contest the next week.
A few months later Dawn coherced Torrie into sleeping with her and if she did she would leave Al alone. She didn't leave him and Al was too blinded by love to leave Dawn.
Paul Heyman booking at its finest.

Correct me if I’m wrong, Dawn debuted right before or right after Invasion? So it’s not hard to se me why any plans they may have had further gjf list in the shuffle fast. Wasn’t there even a skit of her aligning with Mister McMahon that went nowhere?
For my part, the night InVasion started there was moment of Lance Storm and Justin Credible striking their Impact Players pose, and I thought it would be a great idea to reunite them with Dawn as their manager in place of Francine.

I just realized that in storyline, Al Wilson's fiance publicly cheated on him by sleeping with his daughter and he was just like "this is fine" and married her anyway.

For years, I thought Al Wilson was just an actor they hired to play Torrie's dad only to find out it actually was her real dad.

I know Lance would have liked that, he speaks very warmly of Dawn Marie as a valet. Dawn Marie didn't come to WWE until 2002, since she was managing Simon Diamond on the indies and trained to wrestle under him and Mikey Whipwreck. I am assuming she had some training prior just since I know she'd bump sometimes, but I guess she probably saw the writing on the wall that the time of pure valets had largely come to an end.

Pure speculation on my part, but the negotiations to sign her probably went back to 2001, and at the outset there was a plan for her once she was sighed, such as to be Mister McMahon’s secretary/mistress. However, InVasion and its aftermath three that, along with many other plans, into disarray, particularly the arrival of Stacy Kiebler and Torrie Wilson completely overshadowed her. For whatever reason they just left her skimming water with nothing in particular to do, such as just bite the bullet and pair her with a midcarder as his valet. Instead she ran afoul of Heyman and his writing. I’ll even go so far as to suggest there were sone kernels of a story; Dawn blaming Torrie for beating her in whatever that contest was, followed by Dawn trying to seduce Torrie’s father as a way antagonizing her new rival and an eventual payoff confrontation or match. But Heyman just gave in to his lesser instincts.
