Anyone catch this series yet? Teddy Hart of course is a f***ing lunatic but even I didn't realize the full extent of it. Really surprised this is on Peacock of all things considering the WWE ties...

Is this any good? Saw the preview on peacock but unsure about it I binged it all the way through and it makes Teddy come off as unlikeable as hell so it's a fairly true representation of him. Not gonna say it really unveils a lot about him that most didn't know and honestly the center point of the documentary is kinda flimsy as hell as far as evidence against Teddy. But it's interesting in the sense that it's Peacock of all services that is showing it.

So I had a true crime podcast, obviously I watched. I was familiar with this case for a couple years or so. The question I always had was is Teddy Hart lying or does his broken brain get facts wrong constantly? Really, that's still the question. This showed that Hart was more of an abuser than thought, he clearly abused every woman. He also loves to victim blame with provable lies. He doesn't look good for sure.

If you're watching for a smoking gun (no, not gunn, keep those jokes in your pocket), you won't get it. But if you're watching to see how much of a lunatic Teddy is, well, you'll get plenty of that.

I'll add I went into this documentary with the opinion this filmmaker did. He didn't kill her, but he knows something. After the documentary, I don't think it's a big stretch to think Teddy killed her. Really the only reason it sounds insane is because he's Teddy Hart professional wrestler.
Samantha Fiddler was in a position that has lead to countless murders before. There are messages that show she was preparing to leave. That's the most dangerous time. He's beat and choked multiple women. A partner who chokes is 750 percent more likely to kill a partner.
He escapes justice because of family money. The assault charge they gloss over in two seconds is him attacking his roommate who had a disability. Of course, like always, the real victim is Teddy. He just keeps finding himself accused of physical abuse, sexual abuse and whatever else. It just randomly happens to him. And of course he's good friends with a literal child rapist.
If Teddy Hart was Joe Smith, he's the obvious suspect. Well documented history of abuse, a girlfriend about to leave that abusive situation, multiple provable untruths said by the boyfriend, he's the easy number one suspect. He needs to be more seriously looked at, instead of people just laughing it off as "crazy Teddy".

Hmm I was looking for something to watch Thanksgiving, since the movie I was planning on checking out won't be available until Monday. Maybe I'll check this out.

From what I read that guy Rancid, Chase or whatever his name is was actually dating that girl for months or perhaps a year or so right? Back then she was an underage teen and the lawsuit was brought up by her mother by the time the girls was already an adult. I remember reading about it on this board, I didn't google it and I won't but there is no way her mother didn't know her underage daughter has been dating an adult for so long unless the girl was a runaway. Apparently they are all just trash people hanging out together until it gets messy.

I mean, hecc, Kevin Dunn's name is listed in the credits. WWE were involved in this. (Probably contributing the OVW footage and the Velocity footage).

I often wonder if Teddy's got much contact with the other Harts these days. I know the final incarnation of the Tyson Kidd character borrowed from Teddy's quirks to make an intentionally annoying heel, so I kind of get the impression even his family knows he's obnoxious.

I also kind of wonder if Natalya's "No, Really, I'm a cat, you guys!" thing is a dig at Teddy, too.

I’ve heard scattered stories of Teddy before, but it’s amazing seeing them all put together in a clean, cohesive narrative.
Yeah, this guy is off. More than the cat thing, and wrestling thing. He’s kind of a sociopath.

I think this was originally supposed a positive piece focusing on him but once they got into the stuff surrounding him it changed, so WWE agreeing to cooperate early on wouldn't be shocking.

I was honestly rooting for the guy a few years ago when he was getting decent bookings again and seemingly like he was keeping his nose clean. Still a weirdo (met him at an AAW event), but seemed harmless.
When stuff started to surface a couple years ago, it was worrisome, but this just opened up how horrific of a person he is. Just seems like the perfect storm of not all there, paranoid from all the weed he smokes, zero accountability from his family, and spoiled. I know this little docuseries won't kick him out of the business, but I can only hope less and less shindies get a chance.
I know it was meant to highlight Samantha, but I wish they got some of the Maria Manic YouTube footage in and somehow got ahold of her (who I also think has fallen off of the face of the earth iirc)

This is why i support mental health support. Not only do these services help the alleged perpetrator, they can help prevent that "perp" creating other victims.
Teddy clearly fell through a lot of cracks and grew up with some trauma. Sad he never really got the support he needed.

Watched the whole thing. If there was any doubt why you SHOULDN'T get involved in wrestling without family or super close friends already in it THIS IS IT. Sometimes I think wrestling as an industry is worse than the scummiest stripper joint out there.
Everyone in this documentary (except Samantha's sister, best friend and Teddy's folks) put cherry on the top of wrestling as scumbag business. They are all super POS people including that producer who finally got the chance to cash in his work so he is now an actor in the the plot so convoluted which they tried so hard to make one dimensional: Teddy's is a killer/suspect and Samantha is a sweetheart girl next door. Bottom line is they are all desperate, stupid, erratic, disturbed people with extremely unhealthy lifestyle.
I was so pissed off watching this because how stupid they all are. Teddy is a POS abusing lunatic who can't keep his mouth shut and if he ever had something to do with her disappearance he will blab out something eventually. Samantha mother of three, who has no savings, no nothing but just a dream of becoming famous co-signs on a Jaguar flagship car and leaves her kids to "pursue a dream", such a lack of common sense. Machiko or whatever claims she never had a man who treated her like a lady. Well if I had to guess no normal person would ever date someone like Teddy in the first place cause that's common sense again.
So all of these people are in trouble and in a place where they had to sell themselves because they all lack common sense. That producer thought he could cash in his Teddy Hart reality show after reading a freakin WWE statement that the man is uncoachable! He never contacted his parents, the only people that can somehow get Teddy in the line, about the whole reality TV thing because if he talked to BJ Annis he would have either dropped the project altogether or BJ would have pulled his strings to get the project in the air.
Overall the whole show is bad. Typical crash TV with three hours of leading you to believe that they will get Teddy to commit only to free him of all suspect charges by posting five seconds of footage of his match on the alleged day of Samanthas disappearance. I mean how do they know she disappeared on that day exactly? Maybe she actually disappeared ten days later or a whole month later. No wonder FDLE didn't want to do any commentary. I was about the stop watching when he said Florida could be a tough place to be if you are an illegal. I think Florida is a paradise for illegal immigrants unlike Arizona or Texas BUT Samantha is freaking Canadian who entered US legally and could legally stayed up to six months in US. One phone call to Canadian consulate in Miami would have had all of her documents back in no time.
The only real lesson to be learned here is this: if you ever find yourself in a foreign country without your passport please call a consulate or an embassy of your country. If there is no such office please contact your family or friends to do that for you by contacting official in your country. It's simple as that.
