If you guys ever wanna watch another crazy Teddy Hart thing, watch his sit down interview with Chuck Taylor and Trent when they were doing interviews for a time at HighSpots. Shit goes off the rails several times, and the audience is the PWG locker room, some of them looked legitimately worried at points. And that included Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, and other familiar faces, but the ending where the happy time music stops is just... well worth seeing if you never have before. Here's the preview, big time language warning www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3YgpUgQ980&ab_channel=HighspotsWrestlingNetwork

Watched the whole thing. If there was any doubt why you SHOULDN'T get involved in wrestling without family or super close friends already in it THIS IS IT. Sometimes I think wrestling as an industry is worse than the scummiest stripper joint out there. Everyone in this documentary (except Samantha's sister, best friend and Teddy's folks) put cherry on the top of wrestling as scumbag business. They are all super POS people including that producer who finally got the chance to cash in his work so he is now an actor in the the plot so convoluted which they tried so hard to make one dimensional: Teddy's is a killer/suspect and Samantha is a sweetheart girl next door. Bottom line is they are all desperate, stupid, erratic, disturbed people with extremely unhealthy lifestyle. I was so pissed off watching this because how stupid they all are. Teddy is a POS abusing lunatic who can't keep his mouth shut and if he ever had something to do with her disappearance he will blab out something eventually. Samantha mother of three, who has no savings, no nothing but just a dream of becoming famous co-signs on a Jaguar flagship car and leaves her kids to "pursue a dream", such a lack of common sense. Machiko or whatever claims she never had a man who treated her like a lady. Well if I had to guess no normal person would ever date someone like Teddy in the first place cause that's common sense again. So all of these people are in trouble and in a place where they had to sell themselves because they all lack common sense. That producer thought he could cash in his Teddy Hart reality show after reading a freakin WWE statement that the man is uncoachable! He never contacted his parents, the only people that can somehow get Teddy in the line, about the whole reality TV thing because if he talked to BJ Annis he would have either dropped the project altogether or BJ would have pulled his strings to get the project in the air. Overall the whole show is bad. Typical crash TV with three hours of leading you to believe that they will get Teddy to commit only to free him of all suspect charges by posting five seconds of footage of his match on the alleged day of Samanthas disappearance. I mean how do they know she disappeared on that day exactly? Maybe she actually disappeared ten days later or a whole month later. No wonder FDLE didn't want to do any commentary. I was about the stop watching when he said Florida could be a tough place to be if you are an illegal. I think Florida is a paradise for illegal immigrants unlike Arizona or Texas BUT Samantha is freaking Canadian who entered US legally and could legally stayed up to six months in US. One phone call to Canadian consulate in Miami would have had all of her documents back in no time. The only real lesson to be learned here is this: if you ever find yourself in a foreign country without your passport please call a consulate or an embassy of your country. If there is no such office please contact your family or friends to do that for you by contacting official in your country. It's simple as that. Yeah I was like Couldn’t she go to an embassy and they help her out? Or even just find a way to get herself deported? Or someone come get her?

Watched episode one last night and half of episode two.
Generally I kinda hate documentaries where the documentarian makes themselves a character. Makes me feel like they're trying to get themselves over along with the story, and that renders everything they share sus.
Teddy's the kind of guy you can't really exaggerate though. I don't think the filmmaker is blowing (much) smoke up the audience's ass because he doesn't have to, reality is strange enough.
Just got to them introducing Samantha so I'm curious to see the rest.

The documentary clarified the circumstances of Samantha Fiddler's disappearance, at least somewhat. I was previously unaware that she first quit MMA training, and then separately later also quit pro wrestling training several months before she went missing, and was already working in landscaping, etc. And that she had moved from Orlando to Miami, away from the wrestling related people, before disappearing. And that the last place she was seen was when they released her from jail, months after her last contact with Teddy Hart. It certainly seems like she had already gotten away from him several months before disappearing... which is not the way a lot of people in wrestling have been making it seem (I'd always heard wrestling folks saying that she was "last seen with Teddy Hart" and that therefore he must be responsible). Having watched the documentary, I was left thinking that he contributed to her being in a bad situation, and probably feels guilty about keeping her passport, etc. but the actual disappearance happened when she was no longer around him. That's the impression I got from it, anyway. Sad story all around. Also, the producer of the doc doesn't seem like the brightest guy in the world. It seemed like he didn't understand that MMA and pro wrestling aren't the same thing... which is kinda crazy especially when he's devoted literally decades of his life to this Teddy Hart story and making a documentary for Netflix with the footage. It seemed pretty clear that the story was... they were going to try to have her do MMA, but she "quit after taking one punch." But then they also had her do pro wrestling training, which she took to more, but still eventually decided to quit. The producer tried to "catch Teddy in a lie" when he had footage of Samantha doing worked pro wrestling drills, after Teddy said she quit MMA after one real punch. Not the same thing. Yeah it might be a trivial little detail, but that this guy still released his documentary with that still in there, shows he might be clueless regarding a lot of other details about this story, too.
I kind of understand the guy, this was his one and only ultimate opportunity to cash in his time spent with stupid Teddy. Him wasting his time with Teddy is his own fault for not knowing anything about Teddy, wrestling or reality TV. How many times did he say oh the story will write itself if I keep filming? No dude, story will not write itself cause crackheads and emotionally disturbed people only have one way ticket to dead ends over and over again. The only conclusion to their story would be serious mental help therapy or something like that. Whoever think they can cash in by filming disturbed people is a scumbag. And yes that goes for the both "Reality show producer"/actor/host of this show and a real Peacock producer of this stupid series. Host guy said in the footage that he has contributed to Samanthas suffering for filming Teddy and what does he think he did now with this show/his paycheck? He painted Teddy as a killer so the guy will get into more rampage than ever, Teddy's ex-girlfriends saw this as one last straw of hope to become famous which they will not become so they will dive even deeper into depression. This series did no one any favors. And worst of all it showed demise of Samantha, mother of three. They tried to paint her as an innocent mom who wants to become wrestler only to expose her as her not being any different than others filmed in this garbage of series. They did not do her family any good as now everyone knows she's been a stripper, felon, probably a drug abuser and everything that comes with it. Her family must be in ruins. These people don't need to be on TV period! They are all about doing self harm through stupid decisions and kids don't need to watch this. Someone watching this would not come to a conclusion Oh I should not have two girlfriends living with me at the same time. No, they will come to conclusion Oh Teddy is so cool cause he had been living with two girlfriends at the same time! Due to this documentary Teddy would get even more cult following for all the wrong reasons. Heck I'm first to say that Teddy still is one of the best performers in the ring on planet Earth but I aint defending him at all behind the curtain. I'm really pissed about this because it paints wrestling in a super bad way. F*** you Teddy!

So he wasn’t in Florida when Samantha went missing correct? So then why do people think he’s a person of interest?

So he wasn’t in Florida when Samantha went missing correct? So then why do people think he’s a person of interest? From what I've seen, the police don't. Just wrestling people do, because Teddy Hart is Teddy Hart.
It certainly seems like he wasn't around her at the time she disappeared.
Yeah Teddy Hart seems like a massive piece of shit, and definitely negatively influence the girls life, but throwing murder accusations there when there is no real proof is pretty shitty. With his stories changing and shit, I just feel like it’s because of his mental disorders and he can’t help but to lie pathalogically

So he wasn’t in Florida when Samantha went missing correct? So then why do people think he’s a person of interest? Eh the guy who did the documentary intentionally framed it this way so he could make something of all the wasted time he spent filming Teddy...

The filmmaker did himself no favors throughout the documentary, but in particular the third episode really stood out in how woefully unprepared he looked for that "final interview" with Teddy Hart. He'd ask him a question, let Teddy lie to his face, then do Google research after the fact and find out it was a front. Had he come in with the necessary amount of research, ready to dispute and correct Teddy's lies on the spot, then maybe he could've gotten something out of him.

So he wasn’t in Florida when Samantha went missing correct? So then why do people think he’s a person of interest? Because there's a certain portion of the internet that thinks being interested in true crime and reading a lot about it makes them "investigators", and they like feeling as if they've figured out something the police haven't.

Finished it last night.
Really entertaining, but I think it needs to be taken with a whole shaker of salt. Kind of respect the filmmaker for just refusing to lose as far as all his sunken costs into Teddy Hart, and ultimately managing to salvage something.
It's also REAL easy to see why no network was interested until the missing person aspect got brought it, and even then I bet Peacock was able to buy the whole production for a song.

Exploitative trash made only to salvage 10 years of some random producers life who invested so much in an utter loser scumbag.
On saying that, there is some vague interest in seeing just how awful Teddy really is.

I watched Episode One and already cannot stand the producer. He's in front of the camera just as much as Teddy is. We get it... you were with him for 10 years and want to use the footage. Use it and shut the F up!

And now he's back on the shindy circuit. This same show also has James Ellsworth and Brian Kendrick. Velveteen Dream was presumably booked elsewhere.
