I'm playin the game on PS2 right now. Not bad thus far. Campbell is back on the narration, so that's groovy. OKAY, thank god, someone who has this game. IS it honestly like, good? I've heard horrible things about it. And I was really hoping they weren't true. Like I heard you can't even web people up anymore, so, what gives? Was that ALL JUST A PACK OF LIES? God I hope so. I can see where the game wouldn't be so hot since I'm sure most of the development went into the Next Gen incarnations, but still, Spidey 2 was a pretty rockin albeit frustrating game to me, so I had high hopes for this one.

Well, given that none of the villains really had a whole lot of screentime, I think the point Raimi was going for was that, under certain circumstances, Spider-Man's worst villain is...himself. Yeah, makes a lot of sense. Something we can all relate to.

I rented it, so far no real complaints, though I'm not very deep in it. It's alot more mission based thus far, instead of how you could pretty well free roam in spidey 2.. not so crazy about that, but so far it's pretty fun.

Alot of people crapped on Pete's 'tony manero strut' sequence, but I found it hilarious. I have a friend who is essentially a goofy dork (not unlike Peter Parker). We went to the movie together, and when that scene was playing, I said to him "Peter is you, plus confidence." We all laughed at how truthful that was. Also, towards the end when Venom/Eddie had that sharp metal spike up to Spidey's throat (moments away from killing him), a kid in the audience started crying. I smiled and thought "Venom really is awesome." Does that make me a bad person?

But I like being bad...it makes me happy. I loved that line, and Topher's delivery of it.

I may give it a shot if it gets budget titled soon. Is it cool wearing the black costume? So far I've just been wearing the hell out of the symbiote costume in Marvel: UA (I just recently got the game, I'm way behind) in place of buying Spidey 3.

I'll letcha know as so far I haven't gotten to wear the symbiote suit. That was my suit of choice on Ultimate Alliance though.
Ah my kickass team of symbiote spidey, usagent cap, classic thor and byrne costume wolvie with seventies Iron Man as an alternate.

Since she's in the films it'd be a way to introduce Hobgoblin at some point...
he's still Ned Leeds to me.

Betty is a super fox for sure.
I picked up Spidey 3 on Wii on the release day. It is short and easy, but the controls make it a lot of fun. Heck of an ugly game though. Characters look good enough, buildings and what not are lacking. The controls are great though, takes time to adjust, but they are just so much fun.
