Slept on the match and it’s still just great stuff.
I really like everything about the presentation and the wrinkles in the story that have all been on screen. It’s not a guy telling a story about a thing that happened to him as a kid that we didn’t know about to all of a sudden add backstory to a match.
Everything in the match and in the story at large is built off of stuff on the show and it’s good shit. I really like it.

For the first time it entered my mind that Hunter wants Sami to be the one to slay Roman. And this is the angle for it.
Sami's done everything the Bloodline asked, he cast aside Kevin Owens last night, and he was the reason they won last night. For the first time I think they might be telling the story that the Bloodline has cost Sami everything, they're gonna turn on him and his payback isn't gonna be taking the tag titles from the Usos, it's gonna be ending Roman's run at the top and costing the Bloodline everything.

See but I feel like Owens being involved now is too much of a hanging chad and the bulk of Sami’s story has revolved about the Usos

I mean I'm not exactly going to be mad if Sami beats Roman but I really think I'm more invested in the idea of Sami & KO v the Usos. I feel like ultimately the heart of this story has been more about Sami and Jey than Roman. Even last night when Sami was hugging everyone it was him and Jey doing it that got the holy shit f*** yeah reaction from the crowd. Plus now Sami has beaten down KO which he's been avoiding doing for the past month or two even when he's had the chance. I think it'll eventually lead to them reconciling. In kayfabe KO can't exactly be that indignant about what Sami did last night after how many betrayals he's committed. He's got to keep working on it and hope that Sami snaps out of it and when he does one of them is going to save the other from a Bloodline attack in a couple months. Sami going for the tag-titles isn't some "Daniel Bryan can just face Sheamus on the Wrestlemania undercard" type thing imo. Fans won't be pissed off and hijack shows demanding he faces Roman because I think they're so invested in the Sami Uso stuff that that is a massive match in itself. I said yesterday that it could be the biggest tag title match in company history with how hot the story is. Plus why have one super hot match when you can have two? If you do Roman v Sami that's great but then the Usos match isn't going to be anything that big. You can do Roman v Rock or Cody which will be huge and also Usos/Sami/KO which will have a molten hot crowd and an all-time payoff if Sami/KO win. Sami can still get his world title. Hell, at this point I wouldn't be shocked if he's the guy for Wrestlemania 40.

just end already.
This is 3 Survivor Series in a row they could have let Roman have a single damn setback without dropping the belt, and they haven't.

I thought Cody should be the one to dethrone Roman and I still believe that. However, I do think whatever they're going to do with Sami needs to be settled before that feud starts because otherwise Cody is going to be a third wheel in the story just like Drew/Sheamus where here.

whenever the Bloodline's fall finally comes, it should be equal parts cathartic and heartbreaking.

I’m certain Roman’s leaving LA as champ. Roman's gonna friggin pin Cody Night 1 and Rock Night 2 LOL They'll tease Cody winning, and then Lance Anoa'i will come out and save Roman's ass. They'll tease Rock winning, and then Jacob Fatu will come out and save Roman's ass.

Fantastic match with a great story behind it. It is a reminder that when WWE really wants to, they are the masters of storytelling in wrestling. While I don't think Sami is beating Roman (I am convinced it will be Cody at WrestleMania 39 next year), the payoff of having Sami get double cross by the bloodline which leads to him and KO taking the belts off the Usos will be great.

The Bloodline/Sami stuff is solid gold. I can understand how some people are done with Roman/Bloodline but I really think that sometime in the future when there is the benefit of time and retrospection between it that this will be regarded as one of the best angles that the WWE has ever done. It’s rare these days that you get a good story, mixed with good action, and good storytelling in the ring.
Definitely feels like the prelude to the downfall of the Bloodline.

The biggest compliment you can pay to Roman/Sami/Jey especially is that they're killing it so much that one of the greatest wrestling minds and performers ever in Paul Heyman is just a background character. He's just chilling in most segments, looking on and enjoying watching these guys make magic. Compared to last year when face Brock and heel Roman had a great dynamic going but a lot of it was being carried by Heyman on the mic. He's not even really needed here though.

I think at worst it'll end up being viewed like the Evolution storyline. H's Reign of Terror was godawful, the epitome of misery booking with the heel as the most important guy on the show. And unlike Roman's run, H didn't even have the benefit of having good matches in a vacuum. But it all lead up to the Batista turn which was masterfully done and the subsequent matches solidified Batista as a star, so in hindsight Evolution's years of dominance felt worth it for the payoff we received.

Hold up. Is this guy implying that Sami and El Generico is the same guy? That's like saying Dusty was the Midnight Rider!

Lol one of the things I found most funny about last night was the announcers acting like Sami Zayn was so wrong to turn on Ko-Completely ignoring the hundreds of times KO did it to him.

After last night, I want Sami to be the one to beat Roman. There's just more emotion behind it than Cody winning. The pop would be historic.

I don't really watch WWE anymore other than the occasional PPV (excuse me, Premium Live Event) so maybe it's because they're not overexposed for me but I'm still really enjoying the Bloodline thing. Yeah. I’ll occasionally watch bits of RAW & SD but I can’t lie in saying Bloodline/Sami was the main reason I ordered it. It has, and is IMO, best thing in wrestling for a minute. Nothing comes close. Someone brought it up but it totally gives me attitude era vibes just cuz of the character work. Roman coming into the match like a boss and getting beat up momentarily by Sheamus/Drew were both awesome because of how established all the characters and their histories are. No idea where this goes anymore, tbh. Not even sure about Rock anymore. But I did hear a great point last night..the last shot of the PLE was Roman looking at KO and warily looking at Sami. The point being “if Sami’s willing to do this to KO, why wouldn’t he do the same to Roman?” The next few months are gonna be epic.

{Spoiler}According to WrestlingNewsCo (not a banned source according to the list), Roman's still set to be champ until at least WM but there will be focus on KO and Sami, with KO facing Roman at the Rumble and Sami facing Romat at EC before they team up to face the Usos.
So yeah, it's coming folks.
