There's argument here for 'Gentleman' Chris Adams and the superkick considering he's generally credited as inventing the modern version of it. That's pretty much the argument in a sentence, to be honest.

WCW had some f***ing guy called Reno who called the rolling cutter a Roll Of The Dice, and somehow that was the default name for that move for years afterwards. Ditto the Overdrive and Elix Skipper

A lot of guys used the Spicolli Driver by name and Louie (RIP) was pretty much a low carder for most of his time in the 90s.

His brother Bobby Hiptoss was the way more talented of the two and drew more. Weirdly enough Tommy was actually the inventor of the stepover toehold

I might be misinterpreting what the OP means, but I'm to assume it's a move that is named after someone, which it is still called that to this day, despite who uses it?
If that's the case, I'd go with either the Bulldog or the Michinoku Driver.

How about the Irish Whip, named after Danno O'Mahony who was the failed first attempt at a national champ in the post-Gold Dust Trio era

Wasn't Pete Gas' finisher called the Gas Mask?
Edit: He did, just checked. A reverse full nelson into a sitout powerbomb. Very cool.

Did Mortis name it the Flatliner? That was the go to name for that move for a while, may still be for all I know.

The Canadian Destroyer is named after one of Petey Williams's trainers.
It's why he takes umbrage with commentators who just call the move a "destroyer".

I've never seen a Lou Thesz match but that man sure must've known how to press.

Tommy Dreamer would insist it was the Spicolli Driver for decades, but people probably think of the FU/AA now.
Abe Coleman isn't often mentioned nowadays as his heyday was the 1930s and even then, he was more of a Ricochet than a Brock. But we still call his big move a dropkick. (Note - Jumping Joe Savoldi, a bigger name from the time, also claimed to have invented the dropkick.)

The Spanish Fly was invented by Jose and Joel Maximo, and is appropriately still called the Spanish Fly. They never really had a "run" in a nationally televised promotion. Great call
