Jeez, I thought they were in their mid 60s Once again shows how much better people are aging now I would have thought the same, but something in my head made me think they were younger than we thought. Makes sense, from the mid 70s when they were at their peak till then was about the same from then till now, so our current old guys are in the same windows age wise. Also for some reason people in the past just generally looked older.

I forgot all about The Stooges until just now. That was one of the better runs for guys in their age bracket Gerry was 55, Pat was 59. The same age bracket today is Jericho, Jeff Jarrett, Billy Gunn, Sting, PCO, Christian, Adam Copeland. Wow. I'm sure a lot of it was lifestyle choices, too. Pat was a heavy cigarette smoker. Gerry's brother was a smoker so I wouldn't be shocked if he partook too.

Makes sense, from the mid 70s when they were at their peak till then was about the same from then till now, so our current old guys are in the same windows age wise. Also for some reason people in the past just generally looked older. I do remember seeing a video on this, and a lot of it is styling. Like, fashion choices, people generally wear what they thought was cool when they were in their 20s and 30s because, you know, it looks cool. But as time moves on, the younger generation associate those styles with old people, so when we see them on younger people, our brain perceives them as older. With Patterson, if he had a different, more modern haircut photoshopped onto his younger self, he'd probably look far younger. The other aspect in sports is how athletes look. Back in the 70s, it was enough to just work out pretty much, you could eat all the crap you wanted so you'd be strong but also have a gut. Then Arnold happened, and we expect to see muscles. Some guys carried on, like Greg Valentine who always looked ancient. But first through the roidy look, then later on the leaner look, athletes and wrestlers are expected to look, well, like athletes not the tough guy at the bar. It's one of the factors IMO in the demise of the big, fat wrestler, even those big bulky guys like Joe, Bronson Reed, look like they have muscle on them as well as the bulk. So that old style body is also a throwback, associated in our minds with an older time and older guys. Well, there's my bit on the subject lol

It wasn’t that long, but disco inferno vs Konnan felt like it lasted ages. Mainly because they insisted on airing those stupid music videos unendingly. Perhaps, but we wouldn't have gotten that version of Disco Inferno coming into Konnan's video if the feud was cut short. I was busting up hard at that one.

That one has been so front-loaded, especially with Skye Blue now having her beef with Julia Hart that is more pressing and better booked, so Skye just keeps on fighting Ruby sometimes and just... why?

Unless I missed the ending Keith Lee vs Swerve.
Keith was taken out with the cement block, returned to team with Dustin for a while and the feud never ended it just sort of stopped. There was was no final Keith vs Swerve match, in fact I don’t think they had a one on one match at all did they?
