For anyone who's interested in Bad Religion, they've a new album coming out soon, New Maps of Hell...and they have a new song up on their Myspace...and it's quite awesome. Go check it out! www.myspace.com/badreligionI'm even more excited about the new album now.

The last time I saw Bad Religion was round about 1990 at Gilman street. In total I saw them about ten times in and around that time period. For a while they were unstoppable. Then they fired Pete, made a ton of money and I never looked back.

If it can top The Gray Race, one of my favorite albums to this day, I'll consider buying it. But since graduating college, the bills have severely cut into my music and gaming budgets. Real life sucks.

Wow that was like what 82'-83'? Great band, lost big interest though, but then my music taste as a whole changed at that time and I had had enoug with lyrics that I needed a dictionary in hand to decipher. The anacoic nebula rotating in my brain has persuaded me contritely to persist. TSING-DOW! < Editor's Note> I thought you were talking about Empire Strikes Back, now I'm thinkin this was some album that I had no idea about. Shame on me. Finestone for President 2008

Finestone for President 2008 Hah, that'd be crazy, but I wasn't alive in 82-83. Empire Strikes First came out in 04.

<please see edited post>
And I still consider Suffer and No Control one great album.
Dig this, 1990 No Control tour BR headlines the Vets hall in Berkeley with opening act a then unkown No Doubt. Probably the best slam dancing one could ever wish for.
Will always be remembered for two things meeting the great Pete Finestone (his last tour) and two giving Graffin a flyer for a huge party we threw the night after.

Against the Grain. Doesn't get any better than that.
Some of their late-90s stuff was a little bit weak, but they came back strong on Process of Belief. It's rare that a band that old loses it for awhile and actually manages to get it back!

And New Maps Of Hell looks to be very good as well. I can't wait.
