I think that's just prioritization. They'd never admit it as to not piss off NBCUniversal, but Smackdown is their main priority now and it feels like it has been since the move to Fox.

Fox is paying them a lot more money but also in the past Fox has (allegedly) spoken up about things they were not happy with when they first got Smackdown. USA has been pretty content.

I mean, Fox has the bigger bargaining chip to me, at the end of the day.
Traditional cable is on life support and only being held up by live sports and the over 50 crowd. Broadcast TV still has some juice to it, though, so I can see Fox being far more picky and demanding.

He turned Smackdown around as a great show, but Raw has been meh lately. Mens wise, I agree. Women's stuff is the exact opposite. Smackdown is great when it comes to men's wrestling, but women's wrestling there is an absolute trash fire as long as Ronda is the main focal point of the division, and the talent is as green as freshly watered grass on a summer day.

So not gonna post the original source cause it's listed as banned but a few insiders seem to be confirming some level of truth to this, but apparently Triple H has been underwhelmed by some of the talent he rehired and feels a bunch of them have underperformed.
Again, the original source is listed as banned here so take with a grain of salt, but a bunch of people are talking about it on twitter and saying they've heard similar. SRS said on his show he's heard conflicting things on that. So who knows but thought may be worth talking about

I'm not sure anyone has ever felt particularly whelmed after watching Karion Kross. Wait what am I saying, HHH loves Kross so he's probably the exception.

It’s hard to think of who else would logically be covered here other than Kross and probably Hit Row. Kai’s probably been the most consistent part of her group even though the booking’s been iffy. Strowman’s just doing his Strowman stuff that he’s always done. Maybe Wyatt, his stuff is starting to drag again, but he hasn’t even had a match yet. Others like LeRae, Emma, Yim and Nox have either been absent for reasons (LeRae) or haven’t been back long to BE over, under or adequately whelming yet.

I could maybe Johnny Wrestling and Dexter but I think the booking did that

Lumis isn’t the kind of guy though that should be doing much more than what he’s doing now, with his weird “serial killer with a heart of gold” bits. Gargano I might get, but he’s not the one booking himself in matches against Omos. You want the dude to show out like he did in NXT? Give him a match against a top star like Rollins or Lashley, see if it’s him or you.

I think if I were looking to point out underwhelming returns the ones that would really stand out are Wyatt and Hit Row. Kross really isn't any better or worse than he ever was so not really seeing what could have changed Triple H's fascination with him even with him being boring as hell, Gargano, Dakota, and Lumis have done fine work with what's been given to them, it's just not been good material, and the rest haven't really been given enough to judge. Bray and Hit Row are the ones that are standing out as, "Yeah, uh, this shit actually sucks."

Bray really hasn’t done anything. I really doubt what he ends up doing is going to be good but it feels like the story has gone nowhere from his return. Atleast he’s a merch mover I guess? Nobody is buying Hit Row shirts

Everyone was so gung-ho about all the returns and how it was strictly Vince holding these talents back. I don't like to see Vince get vindicated for anything post allegations, but I'm admittedly glad that some of his booking criticisms are starting to show that they were a bit one-sided. (f*** Vince the person, but choosing to push the Roman's over Gargano's makes a lot of sense imo) Some talent aren't meant to be mega-stars. There's nothing wrong with that though.

I think most were calling Kross and Hit Row minus Swerve would struggle. The rest were more differing opinions
