No, I don't mean Orton.
As much as the shows have been better since Trips took over, it feels like he's missing that gear he had in NXT. Now, he had a good team surrounding him down there, and those guys aren't with him on the main roster (yet, at least, depending on the Regal situation). I honestly believe that once he gets a solid team around him things will definitely improve to where, while it's not gonna be ULTRA BASED TV, it's going to at least be consistently good like NXT was.

yeah I agree. Regal will help alot imo.
After tonight's RAW I think it's clear Hunter is finding his groove as head booker. still a ways to go, but this product does imo feel fresher since his takeover.

It was going to take a year for him to find his groove since he got thrust into the spot and missing a lot of pieces
With Regal coming back it will be a big help but you won't really see his vision take into effect until after Mania and maybe more so closer to Summerslam

Who's the guy that was lead writer in NXT before he was taken away? Ryan something? What's he up to?
He needs to be made lead writer again.

Yeah Regal is one part but he also needs the equivalent of Ryan and/or Dusty. Even NXT went downhill after they left. Thankfully hhh doesn't seem like such a control freak as his predecessor. He just needs to delegate to the right people and not Road Dogg. Most of all he need someone to tell him that Karrion Cross isn't the future.

It’s gonna take time for him to find his audience. It was easy in NXT. HHH was the fringe. He was taking on “The Machine” just like Gargano, UE, Keith Lee, etc. And he had all the indie darlings to make up an incredible brand.
Now his indie darlings are on Raw/SD and the audience is different because it’s the mainstream WWE crowd. While NXT is largely comprised of PC recruits and lesser beloved indie talents. So it’s such a work in progress. I gotta believe HHH was annoyed that he didn’t snag The Kingdom. They would’ve been perfect for NXT to help reset the brand.
As others said, I think we’ll have a clearer picture after Wrestlemania as to what the voice looks like.

I feel like we also have to remember that HHH isn't just dealing with the higher ups anymore. It's TV networks, PPV providers (they still sell PPV), advertising companies, toy companies etc. There are others thinking of the brand, their brand's association with WWE etc.
So getting a voice is all well and good but that voice can change depending on if Mattel really likes this character or USA pushes the "McMahons" button for the 85729571975th time.

I don't know anyone except Tony Khan who was interested in them (and no, Maria saying that WWE was interested in them doesn't count, since she's known for embellishing the truth a bit). Also people seem to forget that NXT Black and Gold was pretty damn good until he made the really bad decision to put the NXT Women's Title on Raquel, and the NXT Men's Title on Kross. That's what started the downfall.

I mean, it's definitely better. Once the tag titles and world title get freed up and HHH has his guys in place on the writing team, I think it'll be where folks want it.
That said, Raw being three hours is always going to hurt. I get why they're doing it, but sorry, it's too long.

Have the shows been better since Triple H has been given thee reign? I think so. Has he been batting 1.000? No. Are a lot of things not working? Absolutely. Are a decent amount working? Absolutely.
I think the initial excitement and fresh feeling is starting to die a bit overall, but I don't mean that as an insult. I just think it goes back to some really overestimating the popularity of certain acts Triple H liked and them just not hitting their stride yet... or how much rehab a lot of the roster needed. It's not a quick fix. But overall things are trending in a positive direction

Even NXT during the black and gold glory days had its down periods. It's just something that happens no matter how good a booker someone is at their peak.

Regal coming back will definitely help with that, but like with all wounds, it takes time to heal them. Hunter's going to need time to properly lay the groundwork for WWE going forward after years of gross mismanagement under Vince & Co.

Hunter hears voices in his head and they talk to him Randall will probably be a pretty good backstage guy when he retires if he wants to be…I doubt he’d do it though. Definitely seems like when he retires he’s ghost.

Hunter's going to need time to properly lay the groundwork for WWE going forward after years of gross mismanagement under Vince & Co. In part yes. I've said many times I do think there are things Triple H has done that he either A)Grossly underestimated the popularity of certain acts (Kross, Hit Row) and B)How much some acts had been damaged by bad booking over the last couple of years. There's legit probably under 5 wrestlers that can withstand bad booking on WWE's roster and stay insanely over... I'd say KO, Sami, and Riddle right now are the only I am confident saying that. Doesn't mean things are bad, I just think the initial hype combined with the bad press around AEW both dying down has evened out how the product is viewed.
