Really sad news today. Jaysin Strife, an absolute gem to see at midwest wrestling events who also competed under the name Yellow Dog and tagged as one-half of the Minnesota Wrecking Zoo, announced today that he's entering hospice care at age 37. Citing an unexpected rapidly spreading disease, the timeline has seen a lot of well wishes from Mike Bennett, Nick Aldis and the like.
Super entertaining, super nice, incredibly tragic and unexpected.

Damn. I don’t know much about him, but 37 is no time to be going into hospice. Hope it goes as comfortably for him as it can. Sucks.

I saw on one of his tweets back in October that he'd lost 60 pounds after some ongoing health issues. Holy shit, he was one of the trainers the first time I tried out at Pro Wrestling Phoenix in Council Bluffs! That's been probably 10 years ago now, but I saw him once a few years back in a jobber squash for WWE when they were in the area. Really chill guy, funny too. Sucks to hear about this.

It's astonishing at how quickly his condition deteriorated. Jaysin's promotion Magnum Wrestling was supposed to run a Thanksgiving weekend show, but got cancelled on the 23rd. What a sad situation to see in such a short time.
