I thought this could be a fun thread given its really how you look at it. Rick had the earlier singles push way back in the 1980s. Then the brothers had a long run together with fun matches spread across WCW, NJPW, and the WWF. It only ended when the brothers went solo and Scott eventually got a main event run in the dying days of WCW.
So when would you say both or each individually peaked?

As a tag team? 1990 to 92.
Scott was at his peak from 1999 to 2001.

Rick Steiner in '88 with the Varsity Club.
Steiner Brothers '90 to '92.
Scott Steiner in his WCW singles run.

With Rick I would say 1988 with the Varsity Club angle with him turning face. I've been watching a good amount of NWA from late in that year recently and I forgot what an entertaining character he was during that period and also how super over as well. And he was super talented in the ring as well. I mean the Steiner Brothers were super successful obviously but I honestly think Rick could've been a top guy on his own if he had stayed a singles.
Scott it's harder to say as while you can clearly pinpoint when Rick was clearly at his overall best with Scott when he one part of his game down he was lacking in other areas. In ring his peak was 1990 I would say. He hadn't had any injury issues yet or had gained too much muscle mass and was an athletic freak. When it comes to character, persona, and entertainment value then I would say 2000 when he was at his peak as Big Poppa Pump and won his only World Title. I'll just say 2000 since that's when I personally enjoyed him most.

I mean, kayfabe wise, 2000 would have to be the year for Scott, right?
