WWE taking Control Your Narrative's idea for a dark match...IN PITCH BLACK DARKNESS CYN could have been a hilarious arthouse wankjob for us all to point and laugh at but they had to go and do all the weird shit CYN did, and for that I will never forgive EC3. Like imagine some gloomy narrator going on like "To work the dark match is to be unseen, to be irrelevant. If a match exists in the darkness, can it even happen? Do the moves matter? Does the story matter? In darkness, these men break their bodies in borderline anonymity for nobody" over the match. That's what we could have had. |
