Any referees you think should get a podcast?

Any referees you want to see get a podcast, I am sure there are some good stories to be told. If so who? Young, Hebner, Patrick, Davis, even Alfonso, though he found a second career as a manager, same with Teddy Long, I would life long referees than someone like Fonsie or Teddy.

Pond Water Dave aka Super Dave Miller is a ref and has a podcast.

He is best known as the ref that counted the pin in Ric Flair's final match. But he has been around the deep south for years.

I haven't gave it a listen yet. But in persoon dave has great stories to tell. Going back to him being a fan going to WCCW big events in Texas to sstuff more recent he saw being a ref.

Or maybe an anthology series, you have a host, and you have rotating lineup of referees telling their stories.

Fonzie has def. been in all the major companies from reffing alone. He can get out there sometimes, though (see: the post about him, erm, helping El Gigante and the woman he was with with making an entrance).

James Beard would be good for having a voice from the Dallas region...you get WCCW obviously but the smaller companies after that too (Global especially, then I guess the even more obscure promotions, like Crockett trying to re-emerge from the Sportatorium, and the CWA which led to the one time the Sportatorium was seen on PPV: the infamous Bodyguards and Bandits show)

I was going to listen to Dangerous Danny Davis' show, but unfortunately he's been banned from all podcast networks for life (plus ten years).

I don't know, but I read this book. He's less interesting than you'd think. All his stories are, "I was there when X happened", which while cool for him and I remember X, doesn't make for a story.

You can always listen to "Opening the Card with Mr.X"
