Haha, WCW has all the alcoholics! What a joke! So anyway, we're totally doing a storyline later in the year about Hawk's real-life battle with addiction. Not to mention that their biggest draw was a beer-drinking redneck.

I suspect the "Monday Night Alcoholics" is referring to Nitro Parties. Was that about this time frame?

I suspect the "Monday Night Alcoholics" is referring to Nitro Parties. Was that about this time frame? 1998? Absolutely, those were still going on. Mene Gene spent half of the year at college campuses and halls, Nitro Girls in tow. I did hear of one that was held in a college football stadium which, honestly, sounds like that would have ruled.

"Alcoholics" Then what pray tell is Austin chugging down three or four times a night? It sure wasn't apple juice. Actually it was Coors Lite which has even less of a buzz than apple juice so either way Austin was safe.

Nice to see that Vince and co weren’t petty about being beaten in the ratings. Heck even before that they were attacking Macho and Hogan in skits that portrayed them as elderly geezers. This while they were 44 and 43 years old. It had its moments but reeked of petty jealousy and the WWF lashing out because they were starting to feel threatened.

How was the WWF more fan friendly? WCW had Nitro parties, Nitro Girls, DJ Ran getting all up in your area, and a cat/rat looking thing as a mascot. Nitro's from that era had an unhinged frat house atmosphere. Lax security, tons of alcohol, constant throwing things into the ring and fan run ins. WCW was very fan friendly

I thought this was gonna be about WWF guys that didn't like WCW cruiserweights.

How in the hell did they claim better production? They were really hung on those 1995 light projections I guess.

Was that ever a shirt? God help someone who would wear that in public. The same could be said about the "Sable Bomb" shirt with the weird hybrid of the lips but the upper lip looking like they could be boobs. I would like to see a mid-2000s to early-2010s version of this regarding TNA/Impact.
