Feel it was legit to give Aubrey (whose from Seattle) a chance to pop the crowd.
Felt it was overbooked, but AEW really doesn't do that type of thing and the crowd was into it so not much I can complain about

Haha, I was pissed at first.
Really hope they'll lose the rematch at Battle of the Belts V too, though.

I knew it was getting overturned when the refs came out since I saw that happen to Jericho/MJF at All Out but it was still a fun swerve.

I'll give it a pass considering it was overturned and AEW really doesn't do this stuff very often. I'm not a fan of the screwy finish to set up a rematch trope but again, AEW doesn't overuse it.

I like any ending that makes the refs look competent for once.

I like any ending that makes the refs look competent for once. Looks like the refs just scissored the titles away from Jarrett and Lethal in their fight with the Acclaimed. Oh come on! You knew I had to say that.

Liked it, gave them a great excuse for a hardcore style rematch as well
Perfect kind of Dusty Finish

I watch football/soccer on the regular and am used to video replays overturning goals, so this seemed no different to me.

Enjoyed it. Also thought it was a particularly good Dusty finish since Aubrey had a reason to already be out there and witness it.

You can only do these so often before it turns into constantly yanking the leash of the fans, so fortunately for AEW it's something they rarely do.

It's like how DQ finishes have been used sparingly, and done effectively when they are (i.e. CM Punk causing a DQ against MJF when he was facing Shawn Dean in a match).

Made sense for Aubrey, they do generally try to present her as more on top of things than most of the refs.

When was the last time we got a decision getting overturned? Eddie vs Sammy and before that MJF vs Jericho All Out 2021?

Hate when they have another ref reverse the decision because why not do that for every match that has a dirty finish?

Because the refs were already out ringside

You had a whole horde of referees out to get Satnam out (and not Dutt for some reason?) and Aubrey had a direct line of sight to the blatant cheating.
It was a nice Dusty finish and I'm glad they're done sparingly. Also gave Aubrey a nice hometown pop. Only complaint I have is that it made Stephon look real incompetent between how badly he missed the foot/Sonjay taking it off the rope as well as the way he handled the ejections in the first place.

Hey Stephon still does a better job than Rick Knox

I was stunned for a second but I felt a Dusty finish was on the ho-rizon daddy. And the thought of Jeff holding a major title at the start of 2023 was a wild image.
