It makes sense why the Packers losing is given more coverage than the Lions winning. Lions had nothing to play for BUT playing spoiler to the Packers. The Packers losing a playoff berth at home where they're supposed to be invincible AND a real possibility of a great player like Aaron Rodgers playing his last game as a Packer. That's a much juicier story that a team winning that really had nothing to gain but bragging rights. Some of y'all really need to take your fan hats off and look at things from the national media's perspective. Ehh. The Lions win last night capped off a season where they *finally* showed you something, and it came with them beating the team that bullied them for the last decade. I get GB being the story, but it was a little much

Excellent call on Tony Romo. What made the dude great was that he wasn't just another catch-phrase machine. He spoke with both the passion of a player and a fan. Now he's trying to "be like Tony Romo calling a football game" instead of actually just being Tony Romo calling a football game. The dude needs to quit playing himself. The best color guys are those who can tell you what's happening from their experiences, without making it about them. Romo excelled at that his first year. He was informative without making the viewer at home feel like they're being talked down to.

Now if the Lions won a playoff berth and it got overshadowed, then that would be a point. But "the Lions didn't suck as much this year" isn't a great story.

There were prognostications that Campbell would get fired at the end of the season. I think we can all agree now that would be a bad decision.

One last point... so the Lions win a great game and the cameras and story focus on Rodgers and the Packers the entire time. It was like 5 minutes after the game ended before they talked about the Lions. Kinda reminds me how the American media spun the warriors losing to the Raptors as "the warriors didn't lose, the just didn't win"
