Has Triple H been too conservative with his booking/writing?

This has always been my stance as well which is why I've been waiting patiently as he slowly tries to wrap up the Vince-era stuff, while doing what he can here and there (commentating getting better, consistent booking etc) while he works on what was already there.

Vince, as we know, is so bad at his job that when you not only 1. have to walk on eggshells since he's majority shareholder and can swoop back in anytime and 2. have to try and balance your vision with the absolute garbage pile he left you....it's gonna take awhile.

Two other things that HHH has done better: there is a lot less lame 'comedy' (shocking that the leader of DX being in charge would mean less dick jokes) and for the most part the horrible talk show segments have gone away.

Conservative at this point isn't the worst thing and actually is probably what they need for now after years of Vince nonsense. I'll take conservative booking where it maybe isn't unbelievable but at is sound and makes sense over lame comedy and endless rematches. Also while HHH's booking is low risk for the most part I think he at least does a decent job of throwing some curveballs sometimes. Although I think he has gone overkill with the returns.
