Always hated Rick Rude's original stripper theme, before they started using the one he used for most of his WWF tenure. Then, for some reason later on, when Rude came back as part of DX, they used that original theme interchangeably with the theme he was better known for. Also, in video games, they used the generic stripper theme instead of his real theme.

Girls in cars…girls in cars… Instrumental version was fine, but if they used the one from the album... Boogie Woogie Dance Hall for the Rock 'n' Roll Express, ca. 1987-88. It may have been a bit better had they used the whole song, but the instrumental just sounded like the Trolley music from Mister Rogers. Am I the only one who remembers when they replaced Living After Midnight for some corny in-house song dedicated to the Midnight Rockers in the AWA? She-Bop by Cyndi Lauper for Wendi Richter. Not that it was a BAD song, but did they even hear the lyrics? On that note...BORN IN THE USA IS NOT A PATRIOTIC SONG!!!!!!

T hen, for some reason later on, when Rude came back as part of DX, they used that original theme interchangeably with the theme he was better known for. Also, in video games, they used the generic stripper theme instead of his real theme. That's likely some editing done for the Network. During Rude's short 1997 run, he always used his 1988-1990 theme, not the 1987-88 version.
