If they were getting paid, I’d be like “hey it’s their choice”. But the rumors of what they’re getting paid is ridiculous. And yeah, yeah, I know it’s expected with Dana.

And yeah, yeah, I know it’s expected with Dana. $2,000 to show up and $2,000 to win... if Dana feels like paying them. As far as Charly covering this goes, how come this makes working on Raw look dignified by comparison?

I've no idea what this entails, so I'm just going to guess it's about that game you play when you slap each other's hands and if someone misses, then you get to slap theirs. No, this is literally just two people standing across from each other slapping each other until one loses consciousness. What you're thinking of is what I've always heard called 'Bloody Knuckles'. ...okay, WBD, hear me out, "Championship Bloody Knuckles". It'll bring in literally tens of viewers!

The first post was a game I used to play with my older brother, called "Slapsies". My understanding of Bloody Knuckles was you and an opponent would sit across from each other at a table and one person would flick quarters across the table at the other person's knuckles, and you would take turns doing this until one of you drew blood. I never played that game, but I heard about it in school.

I was always under the impression it was called 'Bloody Knuckles' in my neck of the woods because you'd slap each other's hands until someone's knuckles bled.

SlapFight Championship is absolutely awesome. Wolverine v. Darius The Destroyer was a masterpiece of violence. As for who sanctions it, they make a big deal out of fights taking place in an "undisclosed location" near the Lake Of The Ozarks, so I'm guessing no one. Slapfight is what Uncle Dana WISHES Power Slap was. As in, good. Proof that sometimes, niche sports are better off just being niche sports.

To pile on top of why I hate this "sport", is the fact that my DVR on Sling records an extra 45 minutes past the initial recording of AEW. So a good chunk of this garbage gets recorded too. I hate how they are trying to piggyback off a show people actually watch.

There was no name for it, just the obvious gesture of "folding" your hands in front of you.

How is this legal? I know it has been done before in some eastern shithole countries (probably Russia or Belarus), but how is this legal on US TV? I mean, they're talking about head injuries and shit in every legit sport and pro wrestling, but it's somehow okay to shoot slap someone with full force? Calling it an outlaw mudshow would be an insult to the most outlaw mudshow run by criminal porn creeps.

I feel like Dana thinks this is eventually going to take off like UFC/MMA did. They'll have some "unified rules" or something that eventually come about like it did for MMA. I don't see how that happens, but that has to be his thinking.

Guaranteed there's a concussion every event. Every fight would be more accurate.
