Thoughts on his Rumble performance? He wasn’t the focus of, well, anything. But he wasn’t buried, either. It almost felt like he was sorta protected.
Thoughts?

It was kinda emblematic of his WWE return run so far, he was protected but didn't really get a chance to show his stuff and kind of ended up feeling like an afterthought.

He didn't really do anything but he was there
He has no real direction right and is sort of in limbo

He got his ass beat for 30 minutes
Literally he had like... three offensive spots it felt like, he was there to get his ass kicked and then get eliminated
He lasted a long time but like... it amounted to nothing, one of the weakest ironman spots I've ever seen a guy in tbh
AND CHANGE THE THEME SONG BACK, GOD DAMN IT'S HORRIBLE.

I’m just surprised he didn’t suffer an absolute murderized elimination from Brock. Like German Suplexed over the top or F5 straight to the floor or something.

He got no reaction to his intro. But ..as a body that could fly around the giants, he was good I guess.
Garganos been missing something since coming to WWE and it’s the lack of connection to the crowd.

Save the opening bit with the Miz, he was basically just there to take moves. The sequence for his elimination (Finn cutting off his attempted DDT) was well timed, though.

I genuinely felt bad for him when he got no reaction for his entrance.

His run on the main roster has been pretty dull so far, I don't hate him or anything but he doesn't interest me.

He got no reaction and did almost nothing the entire time. Just giving a dude 30-40 minutes out there is meaningless if he's just there.

His run so far on the main roster has been pretty dull so far, I don't hate him or anything but he doesn't interest me. It started well in my opinion, but Ciampa getting hurt and then getting hurt himself has been unfortunate, so it feels like there's ground to regain.

I genuinely felt bad for him when he got no reaction for his entrance. Again felt too much like he came back because he's Hunter's boy but there was no plan for him.

No. I’d disagree there was ‘nothing’ for him..they were clearly going for a plucky, underdog good wrestler type role but it just didn’t catch fire with crowds. So they kind of pivoted him into a side piece for Dexter kind of thing. Might be something there with Ciampa when he comes back.

Irrelevant as his whole run since he came back. It's pretty clear they're waiting for Ciampa to reform DIY

He was definitely a background player last night. The only times he stood out to me is when I was noticing how small he looked compared to guys like Sheamus and Drew. Not that I’m ragging on his size but the contrast was very noticeable.

It’s crazy because between 2017-2019 I was really into Gargano as a face (weird heel turn during that time aside) and once the Way got turned into goofy heels I was on board with it, but his main roster run hasn’t clicked like I thought it was.
I must say I’m not sure what the solution is, but being stuck in that Miz/Lumis angle for as long as he was wouldn’t have helped.
