The Hero is the only main character without a voice actor. Nevertheless, his colleagues regard him as kind, honorable, lucky, a gentleman, and an able leader.

Regardless of how frequently The Amazon uses his Specialities, the referee will not disqualify him. THE AMAZON - ?

84. Claire Redfield During the initial development of Resident Evil 2, the designers originally planned to have a character named Elza Walker to be the female lead accompanying Leon S. Kennedy. Elza was almost included in the released version of the game until Capcom decided to scrap an 80% completed build of the game (later dubbed Resident Evil 1.5) and restarted development. In this new version, Elza was redesigned into Claire Redfield. Like Elza, Claire was also a college student and motorcyclist, with the main difference being that Claire is the younger sister of Chris Redfield (whereas Elza had no relationship with any established character). To heighten the resemblance between the siblings, Claire was given brown hair instead of blonde, blue eyes and an outfit that resembles Chris' S.T.A.R.S. uniform (including the presence of a knife sheath).[citation needed] Resident Evil 2 revolves around Claire's search for her missing brother. She arrives in Raccoon City to find the town being overrun by zombies. She seeks refuge in the city's police station, and learns that Chris has already left for Europe in order to investigate the activities of the Umbrella Corporation, the company responsible for the viral outbreak in the city. The rest of the game focuses on Claire's attempt to escape from the city alive. She maintains radio contact with Leon and teams up with a young girl named Sherry, while fighting against the various creatures infesting the precinct, including a mutated William Birkin. Claire eventually found a secret passage that leads her from the precinct into a sewer that takes her into Umbrella's underground lab. In the aftermath of the game, Claire escapes from the lab along with Leon and Sherry and eventually the three of them manage to destroy the mutated Birkin. As revealed in the epilogues of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Claire left the city by herself in order to continue her search for Chris, while Leon and Sherry were retrieved by the U.S. Military. In Resident Evil Code: Veronica, Claire is the player's character for the first half of the game. After an unsuccessful infiltration of Umbrella's medical branch in Paris, Claire finds herself locked in a prison. She escapes and teams up with fellow prisoner Steve Burnside. Following another viral outbreak, this time caused by a rival corporation of Umbrella's. The pair escape from the island, only to find themselves in another of Umbrella's secret labs, this time in Antarctica, before they are taken captive by Alexia Ashford. The second half of the game follows Chris trying to save his captured sister from Umbrella. He finds his way into the Antarctic lab and rescues a captive Claire before the final battle with Alexia. The siblings escape from the facility via jet during the game's ending and they vow to put an end to the Umbrella Corporation's activities. As of Resident Evil 4 Claire's situation is unknown.

83. Liquid Snake Liquid Snake (commonly referred to as Liquid) is Solid Snake's Doppelgänger and archnemesis, and also the field commander of FOXHOUND and the Genome Soldiers. Along with Snake and Solidus, he is one of the three "brothers" genetically engineered from cell samples taken from Big Boss in the Les Enfants Terribles project, and believes himself to be inferior to Solid Snake, as the recipient of all of Big Boss's "flawed" recessive genes. Because he believes he has Big Boss's "flawed" genes, he holds a strong resentment towards Solid Snake, who supposedly has inherited the better genetics, and wishes to defeat him in combat to reclaim his "birthright". In Metal Gear Solid Liquid serves as the main antagonist against Solid Snake. In the game Liquid poses as Snake's former survival coach Master Miller and tricks Snake into activating the new version of Metal Gear, REX. After this the entire final act of the game involves Snake and Liquid fighting, first with Liquid piloting Metal Gear, secondly in a bare handed fist fight and finally in a car chase before Liquid is killed by the FOXDIE virus. Following his appearance in Metal Gear Solid Liquid was named the "Greatest Villain of TIME" (PlayStation only) by IGN.[6] In Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Liquid possesses his former ally Revolver Ocelot, via an arm transplant. In the game Liquid only takes control of Ocelot when Snake is in close proximity, first in the hull of the Marine vessel and later on the top of Arsenal Gear, where Liquid then steals a Metal Gear RAY and disappears off to defeat the Patriots. In Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Liquid Snake appears to have taken complete control of Revolver Ocelot's mind and will, the two becoming a new entity known as Liquid Ocelot. Liquid once again amasses his own new Outer Heaven to fight against the Patriots and establishes a new base of operations in the Middle East.

82. Kibegami Genjuro Genjuro Kibagami claims to have killed his family and at least a thousand other people. His mother was a prostitute and, due to her profession, he knew nothing about his father. When he was fifteen, Genjuro killed one of her clients -due to his mother's pleas for protection from her client's drunken rage. As he went to leave, she attacked him, leaving the scar on his back, and he killed her. Orphaned, Nicotine Caffeine spotted him and took him under his tutelage along with Haohmaru. The two became very close friends and one of the best samurai in the academy. However, Nicotine was ever aware of Genjuro's hunger for power and hoped to gradually qualm his brutality over time through his teachings. As a test, he decided to have his star pupils fight to determine who was stronger, as well as to determine to whom he will give the scroll that would enhance the victor's abilities. The two men fought for hours, and, while Haohmaru treated the match as friendly rivalry, Genjuro purposely slashed towards vitals. Eventually, Genjuro defeated Haohmaru and had to be restrained from killing him. Nicotine stopped the fight and banished Genjuro for his murderous intent; true strength does not mean killing a friend in a duel. Genjuro has made it his goal in life to bring suffering upon Nicotine and Haohmaru. He hates Haohmaru especially, because he resembles the man his mother was with when he killed them. His profession during his travels is a hitokiri or killer-for-hire, often accepting the more "dirty" jobs such as wiping out pirate brigades and bandit hideouts. Unlike most characters, Genjuro willingly floats in the gritty underworld of the big cities, engaging in brothels and possibly drug trading. He commonly insult to his opponents is "Aho!" (Fool!). His "pet" of sorts is an orange frog named Kaeru. The frog follows him around wherever he goes. While he seems indifferent to the frog's presence, Genjuro does miss it when it goes into hibernation for the winter. After Genjuro is approached by a mysterious, cloaked figure during his travels. The mysterious person asks Genjuro to kill the Lord of Hinowa, Gaoh for a handsome sum of money. The cloaked figure states he is just one of the many people who want him dead. As Genjuro runs off to Hinowa, the cloaked figure laughs. Genjuro returns to the cloaked figure. Before he pays Genjuro, however, the person has a second request. Not interested, Genjuro attacks the cloaked figure to reveal the person was actually Sankuro Yorozu all along. Now proclaiming he is the new Lord of Hinowa, he asks Genjuro to join him and together they could rule. Genjuro then attacks Sankuro again but is saved by Gosichi, Fuyo, and Ippachi. Giving up, Genjuro turns his back on Sankuro and tells him he never wants to see them again. As Genjuro walks away, Sankuro shoots Genjuro in the back. With his last strength, he attacks the group but they escape unharmed and Genjuro falls to the ground. He then wakes up moments later to find that Haohmaru has saved him. Genjuro then attacks Haohmaru but he too gets away. Genjuro then states that one day he will kill Sankuro and Haohmaru and that this will be his new resolution. In his last duel with Haohmaru, Genjuro surprisingly gained the upper hand. Before he could deal the final blow, a boy stabbed him in vengeance for his unnamed father. Haohmaru promises to buy his friend a drink, and it seems the two regain their friendship. It's implied that Genjuro dies from his wound and, as promised, an older Haohmaru still toasts to his friend's honor.

81. Princess Peach Princess Peach is portrayed as the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. No larger reigning monarchy appears to exist. In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the princess has a grandmother, and the Mushroom Kingdom government is ruled by a chancellor named Toadsworth and the Toads. Like most characters from the Mario franchise, her backstory is purposefully left vague and undeveloped, though at the beginning of Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, it was revealed that she has been kidnapped repeatedly by Bowser since childhood. A Mushroom King was a common character in the Nintendo Comics System stories, in which he was portrayed as a bumbling person of little intelligence. While the instruction manual for the original Super Mario Bros. indicates the princess and the Mushroom King are related, he has never appeared in any game and was never mentioned again. In Super Mario Bros. 3, it is revealed that the Mushroom Kingdom is part of a larger "Mushroom World" composed of seven neighboring countries, excluding the Mushroom Kingdom. Each of these are ruled by a different King, however, none of these monarchs seem to be related to her. Peach lives in a beautiful fit-for-a-princess surrounded by Toad guards, and other versions appear in kart and sports games. Eight of these guards are among the "Elite", including the most prominent of all, Toad. Peach has always been depicted as a blonde. Also, in official artwork by Nintendo, her hair has been blonde since the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2 (a.k.a the lost levels). However, due to graphical limitations of the NES hardware, her on-screen sprite in the earlier Super Mario Bros. games displayed her with brown hair or red hair and outlines (presumably, this was the reason why Peach was depicted with red hair instead of blonde in the American cartoons). This discrepancy was remedied in the SNES era with Super Mario World, in which was she shown with her proper hair color. This mistake was also made with other notable Nintendo characters Link and Princess Zelda According to the American instruction booklet for Super Mario Bros., Peach is the only one who could undo the evil magic that Bowser had cast upon the Mushroom Kingdom; Bowser kidnapped her for this reason. However, upon her rescue, this prophecy is not mentioned in the game itself, nor any other game, nor in the cartoons. Oddly enough, in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Peach (known as "Princess Toadstool" or simply "Princess" at the time) was depicted as constantly being in search of someone who could defeat Bowser's (known as "Koopa" at the time) forces, despite the fact that Mario and Luigi could do just that (and also the fact that most of the people they were looking for turned out to be of little to no help whatsoever). Despite all this, however, she plays a magic-related role in most of the RPGs. By far, the most dynamic version of the Princess is in Nintendo Power's Super Mario Adventures comic serial (published throughout 1992 and later reprinted in a graphic novel). There, Bowser proposes marriage to Peach (then identified as "Princess Toadstool"), but she rejects him, even when he briefly turns Mario to stone. Over the course of the comic, she also beats up the Koopalings, attacks several Koopa Troopas, and even threatens to blow up a tower while wearing Luigi's clothes, to the point that at the end of one installment, the Mario Bros. break the fourth wall to comment that "she sure stole the spotlight this month!" This version of Peach is so violent that Bowser has to hire a hypnotist to get her to marry him, leaving the Mario Bros. and the Yoshis to save the day in the final installment. In The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, the Princess took a more active role. Though she had her own castle (one she rarely used), she spent most of her time in Toad's house, or at least in the company of the Mario Bros. Princess Toadstool was also more directly involved in the storylines, saving her kingdom herself. She even assisted in saving the "real world" from Koopa on a number of occasions: in several episodes she helped the Mario Bros. thwart Koopa invasions in New York City, the White House, Paris, and even the seven continents. As in the previous series, she made bold use of power-up items. She was a big fan of the pop duo Milli Vanilli and had a public feud with Kootie Pie Koopa, who was probably jealous of the Princess. Princess Peach is generally depicted as kind, well-mannered, and noble. Her trophy description in Super Smash Bros. Melee describes her as magnanimous and willing to even play a tennis match with Bowser, despite all of the trouble he has caused her. According to the Paper Mario and the Mario & Luigi series, she possesses a pure heart and a pure voice. Another trait in her personality is her eagerness to help out whenever possible. In Super Mario Bros. 3, she would send Mario special items and give tips via letter whenever the player completed an area. When Mario does battle with Bowser in Super Mario World, she assists him in battle by giving him a Super Mushroom. When she is kidnapped (which some crows in Twilight Town say is every weekend), Peach will do what she can to help Mario in his quests (as seen in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door). Peach is beautiful, charitable, and very lovely. She is like a girl-struggling-in-kidnap-by-Bowser version of the Concrete Angel (a little girl in a song by Martina McBride). Princess Peach also has an affinity for the color pink. Almost everything in her wardrobe (most notably her dresses) is this color. She also wears a sapphire necklace, sapphire earrings, and a gold crown adorned with sapphires and rubies. While she was being held captive in her own room in Paper Mario, Princess Peach and the young star kid, Twink, were looking for a secret exit. When Twink came across the princess' closet, he commented that it was full of identical pink dresses. Princess Peach rebuffed, saying that each one was unique and they all were very fashionable. She made the transition from her classic look (as seen above) to her modern look (shown at the top) in the game Mario Party 4. In Super Mario Sunshine, she wore a sleeveless dress with no gloves and, eventually, had her hair tied back as a result of the hot weather on Isle Delfino. In the Mario sports series (excluding the Mario Kart games) Princess Peach opts to wear a mini-skirt version of her dress and pink tennis shoes (instead of her dark pink high heels as they would not be suitable for sports games). Starting with Mario Kart: Double Dash, Princess Peach has been depicted with her hair tied back in the sports series as well. In Mario Superstar Baseball it seems that Princess Peach has traded in her mini-skirt for pink shorts, which seem to replicate those that Princess Daisy wears. In Super Mario Strikers, Peach is more risque by wearing a two-piece suit, which received both positive and negative reactions. A Peach Doll is a doll that looks precisely like Princess Peach. These first appeared in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. One Peach Doll belongs to Gaz, who likes to recreate Mario's various adventures with dolls. The second doll belongs to Booster. He used it to plan his wedding to the real Princess Peach. A Peach Doll also appears in Paper Mario. The doll belongs to Goombaria (who calls the toy "Dolly"). Mario and Goompa find the doll in Jr. Troopa's territory, implying Jr. Troopa stole the doll from Goombaria. After Mario returns the doll to Goombaria, he receives a Star Piece and a kiss. The Mini-Peachs are cute Peach toys sold by the Mario Toy Company. They appear in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. The success of the Mini-Mario toys from the Mario Toy Company was so good that it allowed them to expand to sell other Mini-toys, including the aforementioned Mini-Peach, Mini-Toad, and Mini-Donkey Kong toys as well. Mini-Peachs can be playable in the Construction Zone but Special Kit 2 has to be unlocked first. There are also Fire Mini-Peachs. Peach's personality has varied greatly from medium to medium. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, she is shown to be somewhat unintelligent. When she wins a match, she is sometimes heard asking, "Did I win?" However, this comment can also be sarcastic, a taunt from Peach to her rivals. Princess Peach is often confused with Pauline in the game Donkey Kong. Peach is also confused with Princess Daisy in Mario is Missing!. In the SNES version of Mario is Missing!, one of Peach's Super Mario World sprites was reused for the information booth receptionists encountered in the game, depicted in a blue dress. The receptionists don't look like Peach at all in other versions of the game.

Voldo gives me fury. He's so friggin unpredictable. Also, a slight note about Billy and Jimmy Lee. In River City Ransom they were "sorta" in the game, as Randy and Andy the Dragon Twins, who were the boss just before the final boss, and had the Double Dragon theme music playing in the background during the fight.

80. Clank Clank is introduced as an Idealist robot designed by a robotics war factory computer (his mother) to save the Solana Galaxy from Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman Drek. The computer was designed to produce worker drones, but some kind of system failure - maybe even intentional by the computer - made Clank brainy but small and weak in strength terms. Clank escapes from the factory in a small spacecraft, but is forced to crash-land on the planet Veldin. He is found by the Lombax mechanic, Ratchet, who agrees to go with him to Novalis, a planet under attack by Drek's forces, in exchange for starting a ship Ratchet had been building (requiring a robotic ignition system) and escaping Clank's pursuers. At first the duo attempt to find the intergalactic super hero Captain Qwark. After they find him they find out that Qwark has sent them into a trap and has been working for Drek "to make his comeback." Ratchet blames Clank (and his idealism) for their misfortune, but they are forced to stay together because the only working ship in the area requires a robotic ignition system to function, and so they continue on their journey. Ratchet eventually forgives Clank as he realizes the scope of Drek's destructiveness and malice, and the duo continues on to defeat Chairman Drek. In the second game, Ratchet and Clank find themselves living a famed life of intergalactic heroes. The pair are giving yet another interview when suddenly Abercrombie Fizzwidget, Megacorps' founder and President, teleports the two aboard a ship and offers to make Ratchet an elite commando for Megacorp and Clank the head accountant of the company. Fizzwidget also gives Ratchet a mission: to rescue an experiment stolen from Megacorp headquarters. They both accept and are sent to the Bogon Galaxy. But early in the adventure Clank is kidnapped and seemingly killed by a mysterious thief in an attempt to force Ratchet to leave the Bogon Galaxy. Ratchet saves Clank after repairing him, thus the duo once again journey together, returning to Ratchet's main mission. Later the two are captured and taken to a prison run by Thugs-4-Less, a company hired by the thief (and later by Megacorp) for protection. However, a robot girl finds Clank and helps them escape from the prison. Later, on Planet Yeedil the robot girl finds Ratchet & Clank and tries to warn them of what's ahead. As soon as she can warn them, however, Abercrombie Fizzwidget appears and shoots the robot girl and captures Ratchet & Clank. Fizzwidget then takes off his disguise to show that he is the famed superhero Captain Qwark. Qwark is then eaten by the original Protopet which he accidentally mutated with Angela's Helix-O-Morph (a result caused by the battery for the device being in backwards). Ratchet defeats the Protopet which results in Qwark's return, being regurgitated by the Protopet. Ratchet sees Clank holding the girl robot, now dead, and promises to fix her. In a scene after the credits, Clank is shown blushing when the repaired robot girl shows Clank what she does for fun on a viewscreen. In the third game, Clank seems to have been given a job as the starring role in the "Holovision" series "Secret Agent Clank", while Ratchet is just the chauffeur for Clank. In this game Clank seems to get more recognition from the characters, seeing as Clank is more famous. During the adventure, Clank is kidnapped by Dr. Nefarious (himself a big fan of the Agent Clank series and often calls Clank by his character's name) who offers him a seat of power in the galaxy if he helps him; Clank declines the offer and is replaced by Klunk, an exact evil copy of Clank. At times, the eyes change from Clank's green to Klunk's red. Ratchet defeats Klunk and sets Clank free. After that, Ratchet defeats Dr. Nefarious and Ratchet & Clank then both go to the premiere of "Secret Agent Clank: The Movie". In the fourth game, Clank's role is somewhat limited compared to the other games. He is kidnapped by Gleeman Vox along with Ratchet and Al, and is forced to be Ratchet's Mission Engineer, updating him with constant information and help via radio. He is also given the same treatment by the Announcers/Reporters of Dreadzone, Dallas and Juanita, that they give to Ratchet, though in a lesser degree. Also, he seems to have made yet another "girlfriend", a tech droid named Venus who he gets to help him in certain ways. There is also an unlockable 'skin' for Ratchet, called Alpha Clank. It is basically a large armored body with Clank's normal head on top. In the two-player mode, Alpha Clank is given to Ratchet as a partner instead of Merc and Green. Clank is with Ratchet when he goes on vacation. Clank doesn't believe the girl they meet named Luna, but agrees to help her anyway. Later, Ratchet and Clank are betrayed by Luna and Clank is separated from Ratchet. Then he is forced to do demolition derbies. On Danyi Moon, Clank is malfunctioned and Ratchet is forced to go inside Clank to save him. Clank is used a lot in this game, probably because of his absence in Deadlocked.

79. Ibuki Ibuki lives in a village composed entirely of Ninja. She has been trained from childhood, but resents her lot in life. Ibuki was sent by her clan to procure documents from Gill's organization. These documents concerned the "G-File" project, which was responsible for creating Necro and Twelve. Gill voluntarily gave Ibuki the documents, though the project was already under way by that point. In 3rd Strike, Ibuki tracks down Oro to fight him for her ninja graduation exam. She fights well enough to pass, and moves on to go to a university. While there, she joins a club which, to her dismay, turns out to be based on ninja training.

78. Jill Valentine Jill Valentine made her first appearance as one of the two selectable protagonists in the original Resident Evil along with Chris Redfield. The premise of the first game revolves around Alpha Team's attempt to escape a zombie-infested mansion. Jill's version of the game differs from Chris' in terms of difficulty. In addition to having a higher carrying capacity than Chris, Jill is also given the benefit of a lockpicking tool that allows her to unlock simple locks (Jill is referred as the "master of unlocking" in the original version of the first game), as well as a grenade launcher. However, she cannot take as much damage as Chris. Jill's partner in the game is Barry Burton, Alpha Team's weapons expert. Barry helps Jill out several times, sometimes rescuing her from peril. Jill returned as the sole protagonist in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Set during a time period that overlaps with the events of Resident Evil 2, the game depicts Jill's attempt to escape zombie-infested Raccoon City. During the game, she is hunted down by the Nemesis, the Umbrella Corporation's newest B.O.W., sent to eliminate the surviving S.T.A.R.S. members due to their knowledge of the Mansion Incident in the first game. Along the way, she teams up with a U.B.C.S. mercenary named Carlos Oliveira, who serves as Jill's partner character in the game. Ultimately, Jill and Carlos manage to escape from Raccoon City (either by themselves or with Barry's help, depending on the ending), moments before its destruction. In Jill's epilogue in the game, she is seeking to reunite with Chris, but to no avail. In Resident Evil Code: Veronica, it is mentioned that she has joined an anti-Umbrella group.
