One thing that always bugged me about Cage is that at his most ripped, he looked like he was drawn by Rob Liefeld.
Not a fan of Liefeld.

In this day and age, Cage is just less interesting than he was a few years ago when there were just fewer agile hosses around, and he was younger so could do more flips. I think he's actually boomeranged around to being underrated in AEW nowadays, because he has torched so much of his goodwill by being an asshole (and, in fairness, due to his wife throwing him under the bus unintentionally multiple times). It's not like there aren't great uses for him. There are. I honestly think he's one of the best guys they have for getting other people over, especially other hosses. I find him boring at his flippiest. When he's working a smaller guy and trying to match him on speed, it's just a drag for me. I think where he operates best is working bigger guys and letting a speed advantage there tell an interesting story; whenever they have him work the monster for a smaller face to beat it just doesn't do anything for me nineteen out of the twenty times it happens and the ones it has worked for are kinda soured a bit by most of them having been against Tessa Blanchard. I recommend his Beyond match against Jordynne Grace as a follow-up to All In. It's a good one!
