Bull Nakano (despite being women's champ when WM 11 took place) She did wrestle Alundra Blayze on RAW the following night in a tremendous match though.

As a kid I would make my own PPVs based on what the event already had plus matches with people not on the card. Usually it was feuds but also some random matches if the guys weren't in feuds. I had the Alundra/Bull match on my custom WM 11 PPV. But I think WWF did the right thing in having it on Raw. It gave fans a big moment but also the debut of Bertha Faye. Not as many people would have seen that if on PPV and her debut would have to be explained on Raw anyway. With a Marc Mero at Wrestlemania 12, at least fans would know of him from WCW, when he came on Raw.

He said his career goal was to work Mania. So he signed a deal, was put in a nothing match and slipped during his entrance. Even still, mission accomplished. If I remember fully he said that he joined the WWE for two reasons. To Work Wrestlemania and wrestle at MSG... which he did the same night.

Foley was speaking a couple weeks ago about Abudulah the Butcher and how his goal was to work MSG, so Foley pushed for him to be a Rumble 2000 entry, never happened.

Probably because the debut of Rhonda Singh/Bertha Faye was more a Raw thing than a Mania moment but they couldn’t have axed one of the atrocious XI matches for another Bull/Blayze banger? Those two always worked so well together.
