I was worried things would end quick for them when Bohdi was cut, but they still are doing good stuff.
I'm hoping they get some title before they split if they do (still up in the air with Hudson).
Whether it's either Andre or Hudson as N.A. Champ, both as Tag Champs, or a surprise upset NXT Women's reign for Thea (or if they add a second lady, Women's Tags for Thea and whoever).
Andre's especially earned it having to wrestle in a sweater like he does, and not a sleeveless one either.

I cannot put into words accurately how funny I find it that out of all of wrestling today Andre Chase is this one exception of the only guy who says f***. Like that's immensely funny to me on a grand scale. Out of all the wrestlers in the entirety of wrestling who keep things on a TV-14 max level of swears for some reason this random college guy (dean? he owns the college right? it's funnier if I don't know) just breaks that wrestling swear rule and not in a like "the guy that bit Kenny Omega said f***" or "Vince called shane a f***head live on Raw" kind of way. Like Andre Chase can just say f*** and he's that much more powerful for it. I might be a lil drunk typing this but I preemptively don't regret this drunk post

For a while now I've felt like NXT has lacked someone that fits the 'Heart and Soul of NXT' role. Someone that comes in and starts at the bottom with no-one really caring about them, but over time based on their performances the crowd appreciates them more and they start getting over until they're one of the favourite acts in the brand.
For me those were Sami, Bayley, for a brief time Tye Dillinger, DIY and then solo Gargano. Since the 2.0 revamp, I felt that act had been missing, but for the last few weeks it feels like Chase U could potentially fill that role if the booking plays their cards right.

I've known since day one what a star Duke Hudson is, so him being able to bring Chase U to the next level just warms my heart. They should have won the Tag titles.

I just hope they aren't an NXT only act. It will take a lot of time and videos to introduce them on the main roster but they're worth the effort. And the gimmick is so flexible that you can have people go in and out all the time. It's timeless.

Duke's been my boy for a good while now. It's been disappointing seeing him get so many stop-start pushes and basically be a jobber to the upper midcard, so it's nice to see him getting over as part of Chase U. |
