www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juh1vgOUfz4eh I don't like it, and I still prefer the "live" version on the different world single better, but hey it is the original and here's it's video.

I'm quite familiar with this video...
It's pretty standard fair for early-mid 1980's Iron Maiden videos. Not that happens to be bad, or anything, just damn...Bruce...why the bang cut?

I love the Irons, but I've always thought this was one of their more overrated songs.

Cool song and video, but what is the footage they used in the video?

I love the Irons, but I've always thought this was one of their more overrated songs. How so? It's definitely better than some of their fare from that period in their music.

This is the song that made me want to start a band. Also they showed this on Headbangers Ball a couple weeks ago and I marked like a 15 year old boy that actually made it into a strip club.

I don't know, the riff's always sort of annoyed me. Maybe I've just heard it way too many times. If there was ever a concert staple, it's The Trooper. And c'mon, the period of music in question is when they recorded Piece of Mind and Powerslave. That's pretty damn good fare if you ask me.
