Kevin Kelly talked about how everyone Gedo has managed has become a big star and Finlay looks to be next.

Kevin Kelley talked about how everyone Gedo has managed has become a big star and Finlay looks to be next. If he does, that'll be good, though Gedo's also got a knack for taking guys who aren't at a top level yet and putting them in "sink or swim" situations. Okada and White are the biggest examples of that, and the payoff is obviously tremendous when it works. Still, I hope Finlay's going to bust his ass to live up to that.

Lio has a fan base in Japan. I know this is anecdotal but anytime I go to a show here fans really get up for him.

Catches a lot of (kind of deserved at this point) derision for his teased retirements or for kind of rocking the boat, but there's a reason people book him regardless of that, he's just actually good enough to put up with it.

Brought up that Gedo made the offer to Finlay after White lost.

Bushimon vs Okada/Tanahashi was incredible. Really enjoyed it.

Brought up that Gedo made the offer to Finlay after White lost. So why was he wearing a Switchblade shirt at Mutoh's retirement show?

I was shocked that Goto and YOSHI-HASHI won. I thought for sure this was going to be a part of the "Okada is becoming delusional" storyline.

I was also not a fan of SANADA beating Taichi.
Really? Are we doing this again with SANADA? Does anyone even remotely care about him anymore? The man couldn't even find his way on the show where his mentor was retiring while guys like Jake Lee and KAI could. He's damaged goods at this point IMO.

Skeptical as I am about Bullet Club in 2023, I think that David Finlay had a fantastic first outing as it's leader.
It's the kind of thing I've been asking for. Less BS, more kick ass.

Honestly, both of them are very popular, so I didn't mind, especially due to him getting a new finisher out of it, something he'd needed for ages.

SANADA is damaged goods for me, but Taichi tends to bring the best out of him. If they take him out of LIJ and add him to JFG (copyright pending) then maybe it’ll give him that spark. Could be a fun tag title match at least.

Could be a fun tag title match at least. SANADA's still one of the most popular guys in the company, is the problem. I don't know that he needs to leave LIJ any more than Hiromu does, honestly. He got injured while US Champion and then just... never really got the opportunity to get back to a singles push. It's less like he's damaged goods and more like fancy dishes Gedo put in a cupboard for a special occasion when he probably should have been using in the meantime more actively.

Yes, big fan Taichi has stepped up but yeah, SANADA still has a big fan base

As he has gotten older, it seems like he has slowed down his ego and attitude He is an amazing talent but I wouldn't trust him for shit as far as a long term deal goes

Zack Sabre Jr.: "What a joke, Bullet Club's dead, get them in the sea where they belong. The Too Sweet has been outdated for about two decades. But if you insist on doing it maybe rethink your members, you've got Yujiro Takahashi. F*** me. What a joke."
